So here it is folks, I'm limiting myself to PURE badasses, no legendaries. (BTW? Mewtwo, Zekrom and Darkrai FTW) All in the name of fairness. So, here we go!

10)Gliscor

Okay, now one of the first things you're going to notice about me? I LOVE GROUND TYPES. Ground Pokemon are the one's who REALLY eff your shit up! And why wouldn't they? Most of their attack pool across all types consists of Earthquake, the most powerful physical attack in terms of usability, effect and power, Horn Drill, Magnitude, Fissure, and most rock type moves like Stone Edge, Rock Slide, and even a number of steel types, as well as being a very diverse blend of types. No Fire/Fighting here folks.

Back to business. Gliscor is cool. Mostly because he's a flyer that sticks his claw up to electric types. Your opponent sends out a Pikachu against your all flyer team? EARTHQUAKE HIS BUTT. On top of that, an insane set of defence stats give Gliscor a fighting shot at staying alive. Not to mention he kinda looks like Batman. Yeah. You see it now.


9)Gallade


Gallade's a bit of a recent choice for me. See, Psychic's were really OP'd back in the day, not much could stand up to 'em. Ghost types? All you had was Gastly, Haunter and Gengar, and even then, An Alakazam had such an insane speed stat coupled with the advantage of psychic versus Poison, he was sure to win anyway. Then came Dark Types. My realisation when they blocked Psychic attacks?

So I get to gen IV. What's this? Dark is weak to fighting? Wait... THERE'S A FIGHTING PSYCHIC??? Plus, he's got sword arms. THAT IS AWESOME.


8)Rhyperior

Ah yes, Rhyhorn and Rhydon are old favourites of mine. Heck, when I started on the Elite Four, I had a Rhydon so OP'D he was dealing with half of them single handed. First try. Gengar? EARTHQUAKE. Dragonite? ROCK SLIDE. Onix? SURF. Yeah. I created the Surfing Rhydon that appeared in the Anime. Boom.

Gen IV? Rhydon evolves?! Wait... It reduces super effective damage?! I MUST HAVE IT. And Rhyperior is such a cool name! Some would say he's... Rhyperior to others...


7)Haxorus

Dragon types are also a fave of mine. Unfortunately, Ground types more so. How to make them cooler? MAKE ONE A FREAKING T-REX WITH GIANT-ASS FANGS. Plus, have you seen his first evo, Axew?

Freakin' cute! Haxorus helped me take down Ghetsis' Hydreigon when I caught and trained an Axew in Gen V. And when I got White 2, completed my Habitat list and got myself A shiny? Oh yeah, you better BELIEVE she's in my party!


6)Excadrill

Excadrill was a surprising one for me. Initially, I caught a Drilbur thinking that I needed a ground type early on, and then it evolves into a FREAKING STEEL CLAWED MOTHER THAT SLICES UP EVERYTHING WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT. Sad part is, I discovered MUCH later, Excadrill would only come up to my hip, at largest. I was half expecting something the size of a Rhydon.

Nonetheless, Excadrill is a TOTAL boss. Insane speed? CHECK. Insane attack? CHECK. Incapapble of getting hit by two or more elements? AWWWW YEEEAAAHHH.
