New Desktop ComputerToday I finally got a new Desktop, HP MediaCenter PC m7170n, and am very pleased with it. After useing a HP laptop for about 3+ years, its a welcome change. Finally I can play games the way they were ment to be played and burn DVD's faster than the 0.8x that I used to get when I used a external DVD writer. The 17" monitor is especially nice, being brighter and larger than my 15" laptop monitor, there is only one thing I would like to know. Is there a way to hook a Xbox to the computer, and have the xbox show up on my monitor? I know there are Component (correct cable term?) to VGA adaptors, but this media center PC has multiple connections (such as antenna, and what looks like component connections (again correct cable term?)) built into the case.
I have tried this: I have the Mad Catz RF Adaptor, for a TV that only has a antenia connection, I correctly connected the Xbox and TV to each other and used the Media Center software. I did get a picture, but it was blurry, and there was "lag", ie. when I tried to select a profile in Halo 2 my monitor would show me the action I was preforming a few secconds later.
