I would like to tell you all a story of events that transpired in a normal day in Skyrim.

I would like to tell you all a story of events that transpired in a normal day in Skyrim.
I was in the Eastmarch, having travelled there with the intention of climbing to Northwind Summit, to visit the Word Wall there. With me was my trusty steed, a horse I had chosen to call Maplehoof, that I had recently purchased in Windhelm. As I reached the base of the mountain, I was set upon by a dragon. By now I was used to this sort of thing and so dismounted and set about killing it.
After killing the dragon I looked for Maplehoof. I found her a short distance away, where she had apparently kicked a group of bandits to death and then settled down to wait with her front hooves in their cook fire. I was a little surprised, but mounted up and set off up the mountain side.
While riding along a cliff-top part way up the mountain, I was attacked by a cave bear. This being the fifth bear to attack me that day, I was somewhat tired of it. So when I dismounted, rather than draw my weapons, I used the Unrelenting Force shout to blast the bear off the mountain side.
The next thing I know Maplehoof was charging past me and leaping off the cliff, apparently in an attempt to kick the bear to death before it hit the ground. When I went to the cliff edge I was naturally expecting to see them both dead.
I was half right. The bear had died, but not only was Maplehoof not dead, she was currently charging back the way we had come in an attempt to reach me.
I descended the mountain a ways to find Maplehoof dispatching a large frostbite spider part way along the path. Mounting up, I resumed my journey to the summit.
Near the top of the mountain I was attacked by another dragon. This time Maplehoof not only fought the creature, but also dealt the killing blow.
This horse simply does not give a fuck about any danger. It will fight anything and everything.
And thus ends the first chapter of
The Saga of Maplehoof: Greatest Hero of Skyrim.More to be added as it happens.
