New FeatureThere's a feature we've been trying to force down your throats for a few years and today's the day we finish the cram. "Same page replies" have been something the user base has been begging us to exclude for our list of functionality, but you don't run this place. We do. We get lots of money from "SamePage, Inc.", so we do whatever they tell us to do. You'll reply in the same damn page and like it, you fuckers. Up your butt with a coconut.
To enable this feature for your profile, just visit your settings and look and the new Beta features section. This will allow you to reply to a post without loading a new page. It does kill the QUOTE button though, so choose wisely.
And special thanks to the RTSE devs who introduced this feature many moons ago. Your efforts have provided us with an endless stream of requests for this update on the site. Day and night. For three years. So, yeah... THANKS.

When will the grammar functions be enabled?
I kinda don't want to turn it on now.
We're just trying to catch up with HBO's bi-hourly update schedule. WE LEARNED IT BY WATCHING YOU!
And Geoff tells me that should not alert you unless you are on AH's tab. Fix in progress.

I like this new feature because I can turn it off. Other new features should work this way. Because it gives you a good side-by-side comparison.

I have RTSE with quoting and SPR working. See the RTSE thread for details. You have to disable the advanced text editor to do it but frankly that's negligible now.
You know, once RTSE starts working again, you can have a quote button AND same page replies.
You can see who is online. The color of the border around you avatar shows it. Not everyone likes the changes but some of them are decent and others will grow on people. You a few minutes to look around and learn before you start bashing what they've done.
It could be just Christmas. GDI why did Jesus' birthday have to be at Christmas? It's way too busy around now.
