So, who's the history buff in the office that knows about the"Starving Times" of the winter of 1609-1610? There are some seriously sickening stories of the cannibalism that occurred then. One of which involved a man murdering his pregnant wife and then salting her corpse to preserve it so he could eat it later (thank you Colonial America history course). I believe he disposed of the now-dead unborn child, though he may have salted that as well.
