I was told once, by a very drunk and hypothermic man, that I because I am a cancer I walk sideways much like a crab does. Upon reflection, I might have to say that there is something worth agreeing with in that statement.

Then again, maybe there isn't and I am just attempting to say something about me that sounds increadibly profound, when really, Im pretty plain and far from profound.

Sometimes, I think that in a past life, I lived in the deep south.

IndigoEverything I learned I learned from CSI (which is bull, cause you dont clear a crime scene in designer heels).

There is this term being coined into modern society - slowly but surely it is becoming as common place as the crock of shit term, "Life hacks".

This term, however, is a little more intriguing and a little more applicable.

"Indigo Children"

An indigo child, of which the prevalence has increased dramatically in the past 10 years, is someone who is overly intelligent; willing to learn new things; and act upon instincts. They often see the world through lenses most others dont. In some instances the catch phrases around these children tends to be something that oddly resembles the force from starwars and the love your neighbour trusting side of startrek.

"As small children, Indigo’s are easy to recognize by their unusually large, clear eyes. Extremely bright, precocious children with an amazing memory and a strong desire to live instinctively, these children of the next millennium are sensitive, gifted souls with an evolved consciousness who have come here to help change the vibrations of our lives and create one land, one globe and one species"

These indigo children are, to some, the next evolutionary step in humanity. They represent the unified mind - one thought, one sight, one vision to change the world type stuff.

ummm...okay.

I think I can jive with these ideas, even though they are a little too fluffy for my comfort levels. But it gets me thinking - if its my generation that is spawning these indigo children, then there has to be those of us in my generation that have some sort of starter gene for it. I would like to think that while I do not have ADD nor the inclination to read a text book from beginning to end, that I may have some of these indigo tendencies.

I have spoken about this before, I have a way of seeing the world that most others dont. The discliamer there is that I rarely, if ever hang out with people even remotely to my age bracket. So then, it stands to reason that there are others out there who are like me. Who see through people because we see humans as a series of behavioural patterns rather than unique thinkers.

Because from my perspective, everyone is just the result of what they have learned, what they have survived, and what they have subjected themselves to. It all comes out in patterns and behaviours. It makes people easy to read, easy to predict, and it is awfully hard not to push their limits when you can see where they are headed.

Music If it is musical I like it. I have a soft spot for jazz and a hard on for the independant rockers of this beautiful country. Always put a little indie in your heart.
