SlingsWhy does the Canadian Military issue us slings? We are not allowed to use them, I'm serious if we try to use them someone comes over and yells at us for not having our weapons ready at all times. The only time we are allowed to use them is when we are carrying someone in a stretcher and need both of our hands. If there is any disbelief in the truthfulness of my statement one need only look at my pictures I'm not once ever seen using my sling.
