TumourSo as some of you might know I had a tumour on my left middle finger for a while now, it first grew around the beginning of January and was first removed later that same month by a dermatologist.
Sadly it grew back within weeks and even bigger than before ( and even bloodier as well) so it was off to the doctor again after about a month and a half of waiting.
The dermatologist thought it was getting a bit too dangerous for him to remove it by himself so he scheduled an appointment with a plastic surgeon so he could have it removed again but this time with a lot more tissue.

My first appointment with the surgeon wasn't at all easing to the mind when they said there might be an infection and they might have to remove the half of my finger if it got to the bone and they wanted more time and a bigger team to work on it since it was bigger than what they first expected.
So naturally they make you wait even more with me stressing out and losing 6 kilos (13 pounds) and I really can't lose weight because I've been struggling to get at a somewhat healthy level.
So they finally removed it last Thursday with a team of four.
After the anesthetics (partially because they were just working on my hand of course) and drenching my arm in alcohol it took them about 20 minutes to remove the tumour and the surrounding flesh and stitch it up again.
It didn't look pretty at all what was of course to be expected when you have a knife put into you, the surgeon did say he had never had a patient who was so easy to cut open/stitch back up because needles pass trough me like knife trough butter since I have a genetic-deficiency causing my connective tissue to be fucked up.
And now my finger is packed in what appears to be about a metric ton of bandages which I get to remove on Saturday but I have to keep my arm in a sling for two weeks to keep it elevated.
I also can't play videogames because if the pressure gets too high in my finger the stitches might tear :(
