Should go look up The Weather Channel and their Tornado Hunter vehicle.
It only got to go on one hunt. Today. It was smashed when the tornado near El Reno took a huge turn and rolled the vehicle and per the storm chaser "looks like a giant stepped on it". It really does though.
The wind was strong enough that it pulled people out of their vehicles (yes, pulled them out, like a vacuum). Prayers for the family who lost a wife and child as they were both killed when the tornado pulled them out of...

Wind speeds were up to 204mph at one point.
Moore was hit, again, also if you haven't seen the image from the May 20th storm, look it up. We made history again, broke the record against our selves from May 3rd, 1999, replacing it with May 20th 2013 as the largest tornado in US history per the National Weather Service.
If this tells you anything - the NWS actually had a live person broadcasting alerts; not the robot voice.
