Deleted Content: Thread I was about to post inSo i was going to post this in a thread called "Mass Effect 3: Create Your Own Ending". being the crafty individual i am, i opened the thread in another tab to make sure it wasn't locked. it wasn't, but it was deleted. so here was my totally awesome, original post, and totally not referencing Jim Sterling's tweets this morning, Spec Ops: The Line, Deadly Premonition, or Silent Hill 2. at all.

Ending 1: The game plays out as usual until Shepard meets the Catalyst. The Catalyst explains that Shepard is actually water. Shepard peels his face off and water gushes out. Shepard says, "I am water." The Catalyst is actually M. Night Shyamalan.

Ending 1: The game plays out as usual until Shepard meets the Catalyst. The Catalyst explains that Shepard is actually water. Shepard peels his face off and water gushes out. Shepard says, "I am water." The Catalyst is actually M. Night Shyamalan.

Ending 2: Shepard gets up after being blasted by Harbinger. as she approaches the beam, Marauder Shields and the Three Huskateers salute her. "Commander, we are all that is left of the Reaper ground forces in the area," says Marauder Shields. "We surrender. The Illusive Man is waiting for you."

during the trip to up the beam, TIM contacts Shepard. "Well, after all you've been through, after all you have done, now you have found me. Do you feel like a hero yet?"

Shepard exits the beam and is on the Citadel. She approaches TIM, who is standing by control panel, painting a picture. it is revealed to be the Shroud on Tuchanka exploding, spreading the sabotaged genophase cure. "Does this look familiar, Shepard?"

"You did this."

"No, Shepard, you did. You would go through any lengths to get to me, to stop my plans. You needed to be something you're not: a hero."

Shepard has flashbacks of shooting Mordin, killing the Rachni queen on Noveria, and punching Khalisah al-Jilani all three times.

"That's not true, I had to stop the Reapers."

"Did you, Commander? Or maybe, just maybe, everything would have been just fine if you had just turned around and gone home?"

TIM disappears behind the control panel. Shepard goes to investigate, and finds that TIM was dead the whole time.

"No..." Shepard says to herself.

"See, Commander? This is all your doing. This is all your fault. But I can offer you a way out, and only if you'll let me." TIM raises a pistol. "I'm going to count to 5, Shepard, and then I'm going to pull the trigger."

"You're crazy!"

"Am I, Shepard? Do you still really believe that? One!"

"You'll be the death of us all!"

"Shepard, I only offer to help! Two!"

Shepard raises her own pistol, screams and fires. TIM shatters into a million pieces.

Anderson's voice is heard from behind. "Shepard, are you ready to activate the Crucible?"

"Yes, sir. Just let me push this..." Shepard turns around, and sees no one there. "...button?"

roll credits, Mass Effect: The Line.

Ending 3: The Catalyst has Shepard's love interest captive. A Reaper is growing inside her belly. Shepard raises his pistol, and proclaims: "There are times when we must purge things from this world because they shouldn't exist, even if it means losing someone you love." after failing to euthanize the love interest, Shepard realizes that he was really Legion, and that Shepard was really a persona he created for some reason. Legion fights the Catalyst in a three stage boss battle. successful, Legion leaves the Milky Way galaxy forever.

New Game Plus only ending: Shepard enters the Citadel's control room. she sees a dog, who has been controlling the events of the entire trilogy this whole time. Shepard says, "So this was all YOUR doing!" in Japanese, and then falls to her knees. The dog walks up to Shepard and licks her face.
