It's been a rough couple weeks for the Achievement Hunter gang. They've had it so hard, having to bounce on a trampoline and then eat an apple. Talk about rough. In comparison, this week's task should be easy breezy - taking down the Wither...and also building a shiny new tramampoline trambopoline. Watch as heroes are born, or the gang withers away. Or maybe both!

Hymens are like a stretchy membrane, not a barrier, they stretch to the side when you have sex and if you don't have sex for a while they stretch back over the vaginal opening. The whole 'break your hymen the first time you have sex' thing is a myth. While you might bleed your first time if you're not prepared/relaxed enough, that's from your hymen tearing a little as it stretches, not from it 'breaking'.

  It depends on the person. Some people's hymens are almost complete, and completely seal over the opening to the vagina aside from one or a few tiny holes. A rare few are complete, with no opening, and can cause problems once menstruation starts. In these cases, it does have to tear completely, and it will hurt and bleed, prepared/relaxed or not. Granted the majority of hymens are only around the edge and have varying-sized openings in the middle, but that's not to say it's going to be the same for every person. Also, no they typically don't stretch back anywhere near the same extent as where they were originally. It's a minuscule amount, if at all.

  Different for every person. Some people have hymens with a large opening in the middle and are barely noticeable. Some people have hymens with very small openings, and a few people have complete hymens that do seal the entire opening, and cause problems once menstruation starts. There are also hymens that are almost complete, aside from a few small holes that allow menstrual blood and pieces of tissue to pass, but will still have to be severely torn in order to have sex. I agree it's not something to "break", but in many cases, it does tear. The type of hymen the person has will determine how painful it actually is when this happens, and how much of a "barrier" it actually is to the vaginal opening.
