004 was a execellent year for gaming. Far Cry, Half-Life2, Halo 2, Resedent Evil 4 ( gamestop edition) and Fable ( LOVE FABLE). But.... What are you looking forward to this year? B.C? Jade empire? Fable 2? maybe even a Halo 3!

Jade Empire is amust cause i love Bioware ( ina non gay kinda way >.< ) Splinter Cell 3 (cause I beat the other two and need another challenge!) Gothic III ( wonder if i'll finally learn my name?)

In reply to Samuri, #1: Actually Microsoft/Bungie unofficially announced they are gonna launch Halo 3, on PS3 launch date. And Bungie started working on Halo 3 as soon as Halo 2 went gold. Now the games im waiting for Advent Rising Phantom Dust (most likely to be a sleeper hit and its only 19.99) Doom 3 Half Life 2 Pariah Painkiller Jade Empire Iron Phoenix All for the XBOX

Legend of Zelda: even though i don't own a gamecube. LoZ for DS: Castlevania for DS: Metriod Hunters for DS: Animal Crossing for DS: New Mario game for DS: Bomberman for DS: Halo 3 if its out before this year.

But anyway, back on topic, I think that the biggest things to come out this year won't be games (don't get me wrong, there are some big ones coming out, TS:FP specifically comes to mind), but rather, they will be consoles. Each industry leader is coming out with a new platform. Unfortunately, it's gonna be at Chrsitmas, so it might as well be "anticipated for 2006"

God, Christmas is a long ways off.

In reply to Samuri, #1: Resident Evil 4 came out on January 11th of 2005. And if you're reffering to the PS2 version, it's probably not gonna be as good as the GC one, because of the controller and graphics.

In reply to Auxilium, #28: I don't put any stock in anything people say without a official quote from Microsoft. To me, any people who hope the XBox 2 will come any time soon will be terribly disapointed. Personnally, I'm looking forward to Time Splitters 3 and Battlefeild 2.

Have you tried the demo on one of the X-box mag demo disks? It's great, albeit in japanese, but the destruction you can do to the terrain is incredible and they don't skimp on the graphics either.
