any platform, any age what game for you would be the most amazing game that has ever be made. Be it nintendo, amiga, sega, sony, spectram, gameboy (all of them), commardore, atrai, xbox, pc and so on. Its not just about graphics, its gameplay, style, live span, sound stuff like that. did it make you nearly cry when you saw/played it, did you wait out side your local games shop till midnight for them to open so you could be the first one to buy it. things like that, not just because you games mag gave it 10/10. It may have got only 4/10 but its one that you think never got the credit it deserved. so come on lets here them, dont be embaressed about. Also i'd perferr no slagging off of games, i dont care if you hate it this isnt about hating its about loving and liking and what made you smile.
opps i should have put my choose of game in. for me it has to be Zelda on the snes, that game robbed me of so many hours of my life and it was worth every 1 of them.
for me Legend of Zelda The Ocarina of Time (N64) I mean that game was so incredibly fun the puzzles were hard the whole game was awesome I'd like to rant on and on but you get the point, oh ya the boss's were challenging (at times)
Command and Conquer: Red Alert on PC. nearly beat the game as the Soviets when i lost my file (just as i learned Iron Curtain tech.). This is probably one of my favorite RTS because of the gameplay, lack of cheats and the cutscenes between missions
I wondered how long it would take for someone to say this. I like the game don't get me wrong, but I'd hardly say it was the best. --- On the gamecube, I think other than Wind Waker, the best game I've played is Paper Mario. Its fun and easy to learn, but then challenging later on. The stroy is great and the grpahics are the coolest thing I think ever. Give me those graphics anyday over GT4 or Ninja Gaiden (Maybe over reacting but I think the graphical style should be used more often). I know lots of people will probably reply saying Resi 4 and metroid is better but as I havn't played those yet (I'll get round to ti t some day) I can't comment.
I'm going to rent it either during the summer holidays or next weekend after virtually all my exams are over (I've got like 3 next week!). The thing is I'm a bit sceptical about it. I don't like scary games (I'm a pussy!) but I've heard its not too scray...What would you say?
I looks like much more of an action/adventure game aswell from the vids i've seen of it, like the gamespot video review. But know that you said it isn't that scary I might give it a try and see what happens. But at the mo' I've got loads of games I haven't completeted yet. Ninja Gaiden (it'll take bloody ages), JSRF, PGR2, Pro evo 4 and not to mention the new Zelda coming out. Destroy all humans is great aswell, Alien Hominid looks sweet and I'd like Armed and dangerous. Man I think i have to limit my games wish list or just play quicker i guess.
ya I have the same issue as you I have about $100 and want about 50 different games man life's brutal and I'd put RE4 higher on your list of most wanted games (not above Zelda though Zelda would be #1 if I were you)
Yeah, but what i'l think i'll do is, just buy the older games first until the new games drop down in price a little. I've seen AandD for under a tenner on ebay...so...I hate the games companies, you wait ages for a class game, and then you realise you want loads more than you have money for.
super mario bros 3 for nes greatest game in a series EVER so many lvls and still fun after all these years and zelda 64 that was awesome too but wasnt to challenging but i never played master quest version of it
Zelda 64 was amazin and probably the best thing i played on N64 but i still find the orignal Zelda best for me, just gameplay and the way it keepet u playing. And its the one rpg that i followed the story on, i dont think ive done that many times before, i normall skip that.
Ah, Banjo Kazooi (sp? aswell, how do you spell it?) that was a kickass game. Another N64 game I loved was 1080. I tmay not have been the best game on the console, but IMO it was the best sports game. Love it, have yet to play the Gamecube version (another game on my damn list!)
i gave up on lists a long time ago, im never gonna get to play all the games that i missed and want to play. I get enough moaning about the time i already spend in front of my games from the mrs as it is, i an't never gonna see them all. (when they gonna come up with a live longer pill).
one i just remembered is mario kart on the SNES, amazin game took many hrs from me. i still think its better than the newer ones, some will disagree but if you were there then you'd understand why its so great
