Yeah, Impaled doesn't really stand out. I'd also say Malevolent Creation and Aborted are better.

Autopsy is great, I haven't hear Aeternus or Withered. I could never get into Malevolent Creation or Bolt Thrower. I really love Aborted's Goremageddon. Everything after goes pretty downhill though...

In reply to Arntor, #1262: Autopsy are cool so is Entombed but they are hardly the same Caliber as Impaled. Bolt Thrower is the only band that I would say in your list that is up there with Impaled in my book.

So I finally listened to the new Cryptopsy.....WTF?! I dont know what to think.

imho, the new cryptopsy sounds like some sort of deathcore. Absolutely horrid.

In reply to The_Fett_Man, #1268: Ive been meaning to ask how the band was able to even keep their name at this album. The only original member is flow and they have totally changed the style of writing and even the genre. The Unspoken King has nothing to do with Cryptopsy so how is the band able to keep that name if its not even cryptopsy anymore?

I don't know, but the new release was absolutely awful. Quite honestly, I don't really listen to anything past Whisper Supremacy.

Well they have been called Craptopsy. They even made a myspace page for it. Oh well...nothing lasts forever.
