Whos your favorite artists like Van Gogh and what not.
My favorite has to be Wayne Thiebaud. I think thats how you spell it

I don't know about favorites because they constanly change, but my favorite exhibits are:

Picasso/Matisse
Warhol
Dali
Lee Friedlander

All of those shows were mindblowing.

my favorite artists are Christie Sheridan and then John Emmerich >.> Too bad John isn't as good as that lesbian!

My favorite is Eric Haze. He is known for his street art.

It would have to be either Salvador Dali or Marc chagall. My favorite of their works. For Dali ot would have to be The disentigration of the Persistence of memory. Chagall, the newspaper seller. i did a recreation of that one for art class. Its a beautiful piece.

I once read a quote by Dali, "The difference between a mad man and I is that I am not mad."

an ya know .. that about sums up his work. I've seen most of it and frankly, I quite liking it. The man had issues. Serious issues.

Just about everything he did had a meaning. The exhibit that was in Philly earlier this year explained everything.

Jake Parker
HyungTae Kim (the master)
Nick Bradshaw

I could go on and on. maybe I'll post some more later. But a lot of the drawing that I learned was from studing these guys
