Hahaha I watched Godzilla: Final Wars just a few days ago. Quite a blast, but I would have to say that there was too much focus on the alien invasion at the beginning and not enough monsters destroying each other. But of course, by the end I was pretty satisfied.
And this scene is just awesome. At the end he says, "I always knew that fish-eating lizard was useless." I bet that's what the real godzilla fans wanted to hear!
There's a new Godzilla/Gamera/Original Monsters game trying to be funded right now. Currently Matt Frank (artist) and Simon Strange (Worked on Pipework's Godzilla games) are getting things ready to go on Kickstarter. tohokingdom.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&...
Been a G-Fan since I was 10 (and that was back in 1977). Seen just about all of the movies and have most of them on DVD (I wish somebody could restore the movies from "Godzilla: 1985" to "Godzilla vs. Destroyer"). I am eagerly awaiting news on the new American Godzilla and am interested in the Guillermo Del Toro Kaiju movie called "Pacific Rim".
Is Final Wars going to get any love? It was over the top and goofy but I absolutely enjoyed, I heard it was supposed to be the final movie being made but now I'm hearing rumors on another film coming out, any word?
Legendary pictures is releasing a Godzilla film. There's actually apparently going to be a panel at SD Comic Con dedicated to it. I honestly enjoyed Final Wars, the only thing that is annoying is the lack of Godzilla in it. Even though that's a big thing I think it made up for it seeing all those great monsters on the screen again after so long.
