Wow, that's a good reason to cancel it. Is this the SCAR-H you were refering too? I like the fact that it has 3 different calibers. 7.62!

Yes it is, although the issued version would most likely be the SCAR-L in 5.56mm. FN reps said that in two years there might be a civi version out.

Vosh, interesting. Figures they'd go with the 5.56. Anyone heard anything more about the civi version of the FN P90 that was supposed to come out?

yes, it has an extremely elongated barrel and can only do Semi, looks ugly if you ask me but i guess you could always get it moded.

K98 Mauser - is this the rifle? If so, my ol' man had one when I was little... He was a gun buff - in the army, certified as armorer (I may have terms wrong, lol) - and had a Mauser, along with several other guns.

As for myself, I own only a slingshot and airsof gun. Looking into a gun in the future, will get one (several) when I get setteled down. Living on campus kinda throws off the gun-owning prospect for now though...
Props to Vosh for this thread and the links to other forums, very helpful in my incessant searches for info.

Thanks Sven. That was meant to be a cool mod by the way. 5.7 ammo is expensive off that site. Be awhile before I can afford one of those.

I have a Marlin 30-30. It's a lever action hunting rifle. Got a nice scope on it. Haven't fired it in awhile though. Don't hunt either. I just shoot.

Yeah i said earlier that I'm not into hunting, just wanted to get into target shooting and such.

In reply to Malbogia, #80: Well I'd never heard that saying before. But I like it. I'd probably go for a sharpshooters weapon, like an M21 or Dragunov, something along those lines. Or you could just give me a P90, either way.

Eh, I'll let someone else carry around one of those things. I prefer to have a little bit of speed to be able to manevuer.
