Alright, since no moderators would get back to me on this, I'm just going to start it off.

We, the main posters here in the movie forum have no place to just randomly spew our guts like the oh so rampant bars in the basement, and 18 plus forums do, yet we have seen hilarity only side track the more popular threads around here.

So, for the movie forum users, here we have our own bar. Note the importance of this bar, it's just as important as key grips and gaffers.

I, DECLARE THIS, THE MOVIE BAR.

The best age for movies was the late seventies and early eighties.

And that's the truth.

Oh, as far as favorite black and white movies, there's always the predictable Citizen Kane. But my favorite one was one I borrowed from the public library back when I was 15 and never returned it (shame on me) and that was Seven Samurai.

No way, Old Yeller > Lassie. In the deleted scenes for Lassie, you see that it was she that pushed Timmy in the well.

Old Yeller is more win than Lassie, so we've moved on from black and white restrictions and back in to movies in general. It's called a segue, not to be confused with a segway.

It's always been movies in general. We were just happening to be talking about black and whites at the moment.

I know, I started it with post #12 I was just explaining why color was ok again and why I brought up Old Yeller. Because he's more win than Lassie.

There's no such thing as a segway in a bar.

IT'S RANDOM CHAOS. Except for us, it's sort of topic based, semi controlled chaos.

Wait... do you mean segue or one of these things:

Because I would have loved to see John Wayne ride into a bar on one of those things.

maybe you should learn to explain yourself better, as with your avatar which you had to explain as satire. first the joke is not funny if you have to explain it, so you fail. second old yeller is fail as he was shot dead. lassie pwns as he pushed timmy into well and then gets credit for saving him. lassie for the win.

1) Sorry you didn't understand what I wrote.
2) It's not a joke, it's serious business dude.
3) Old Yeller has a bigger phallus than Lassie
4) You are more fail than Pauly Shore.
5) Every list needs one.

BACK TO MOVIES!

I was watching Matrix: Revolutions special features the other night and I saw a clip where a very excited SFX specialist was applying explosive charges. Upon rewind, I realized that it was Adam Savage from The MythBusters. I didn't realize that he worked on Revolutions, and I don't recall seeing him in either of the other two films special features. Did he work an all three films?
