Superman
Darth Vader
Yoda
Luke Skywalker
Jaws
Indiana Jones
Robocop
X-Men
Batman
Ghostbusters
Back to the Future
Pirates of the Caribbean
Halloween
Jurassic Park

Best damn theme songs I can think of right now. In no particular order except Superman and Vader being on top.

Office space.
that rap song they have playing while their trashing the fax machine was beautiful. I've never laghed so hard in my life simply because they had that song in that scene.

I personally think the montage with "Damn it feels good to be a gangster" was classic.

that whole movie has a great sound-track to it. it's probibly the only time I'll ever like rap music in a movie - excluding that recent one I can't remember the name of, with the song "hard out here for a pimp" - otherwise it's a movie like "fast and furious". I hate that movie....

op, the movie is hussle and flow, now I remember. that's a good one too.

To me a good theme is one that I'll wistle months after not seeing the movie. I saw the Superman Returns DVD in stores today. I was humming it all the way home. I haven't seen any of the Superman movies in months. John Williams is a music god.

My top 3 movie theme composers

1) John Williams
2) Danny Elfman
3) Howard Shore

John Williams is definatly number one.
Danny Elfman comes in second.
Alan Silvestri is pretty close third.

Howard Shore is pretty good. But none of his work really sticks out to me. Nothing that made me think "My God that's good music."

Well I include Howard Shore because I enjoy the music from LotR, and he also did the soundtrack for The Departed which I also liked.

John Williams for the win.

I mean, you can't beat "Luke Vs. Vader" from Return of the Jedi, or The Indiana Jones Theme.

What about Brett Fiedel? Terminator and T2.

First one was ok. Nothing great or spectacular. I only saw it because my loser friend thinks it's the greatest movie ever because Jessica Alba's in it and he brought it over. Of course he'll say the same thing with anything that has Angelina Jolie. Even Larry the Cable Guy (though not for the same reasons).

I don't understand why people like Jolie so much. She's not that hot, plus she has saggy breasts. lol.

As for a movie with Alba in it being spectacular, it's never going to happen, unless she takes all her clothes off. Then I might reconsider.

Larry the Cable guy was ok in Cars.

My friend has the worst tastes in movies. He loves the Larry the Cable Guy movie. Thought the Dukes of Hazzard movie was the best movie ever made. That's just the tip of the iceberg.

Didn't Invisible Woman actually take all her clothes off at one point in the movie?
