OK, I'd actually like to have intelligent discussion here. Am I the only person in the damn universe who actually liked this comic? Yeah, the humor storyline turned serious at points, but one could actually relate it to real life (kinda). In any event, its evolution felt like RvB's, from sketch-esque comedy to drawn out story with humor intermixed in between. It was good, and the end actually made me kinda sad. In any event, seeing as this has been dead for a year, I'd like to hear people's reactions to the ending and its new direction from here on out
I started reading and liked it. As the main story progressed I got progressively more and more bored. When the main story finally ended I didn't really care. But the comics that came out afterwards actually made me me chuckle. Most of them anyways. And the reason was the writing was no longer hampered by pre-existing conditions. so I just hope he stays away from consistent storyline comics because those bored me to tears. One shot jokes of his I found generally good for the most part.
Yeah, looking back I'm beginning to feel that way. The stories I did like were only when he interjected the zaniness of the one-offs, like when he made the cast sci-fi characters, or the Scott storyline
