Wow, spotted that one fast. I just changed it a few hours ago. Usually takes a day or two at least before someone mentions it. I decided we needed an Avengers title. Geekers will probably change it back as soon as he sees. Thought "We Have a Hulk" was pretty good, and not all that far from the normal title, conceptually, at least. Other possibilities I considered included:
The Avenger Initiative Just Like Budapest Bringing the Party to You I Don't See How That's a Party Better Clench Up, Legolas That Man is Playing Galaga Unruly and So Cannot be Ruled
He wasn't after power. That implies that becoming the Abomination was his endgame when it wasn't. All he wanted the whole movie was to beat the Hulk or at least prove he could hold his own. Once his bones magically heal and he says he's, "Pissed off and ready for round two" you get the feeling he'd let himself get crushed over and over and over until he finally found a way to get the upperhand. Dr. Stern was his chance and he took it. And then suddenly he had all that power and no Hulk to smash it against so he started tearing the shit out of Harlem just because he could.
It must be just me, but I enjoyed the love story more than any of the other films. It wasn't all making gaga eyes and falling in love in 60 seconds. It was old lovers and colleagues separated by the circumstances finding each other again and easing back into things. And I've said it before, but the sex scene cut short is one of my favorites of the Marvel films right up there with Skinny Steve capturing the flag.
Finally finished Diablo III. Can't say I was disappointed with the story, many twists here and there that I did not expect. Some will probably think it's not that great of a game, maybe say something like it was too short or that it lacked variety, but honestly, they should replay Diablo 2 and see that D3 improved in every level. Now I shall start on Nightmare difficulty, and try out multiplayer.
As for the thread's title, I've liked what I've seen so far, but for now, I'm fine with "We have a Hulk", which is technically true (jedipoet ) and it also means that it's a thread where you can't tread in lightly.
