I'm very dissapointed with Marvel's handling of EMH, and honestly AS and Ultimate Spider-Man both look pretty terrible. The Hulk show really only features five characters who are more or less shades of the same colour, so to speak.

You have Hulk, who is the normally smart guy who turns into the big, dumb, strong guy; you have Red Hulk, who is the average intelligence and tactical guy who turns into the big, average intelligence, strong guy; She-Hulk, who is the smart chick who turns into the big, smart, strong chick; Skaar, who is a kid who turns into a big, strong kid with daddy issues; and you have A-Bomb, who is the average intelligence guy who turns into the big, immature-minded, strong guy.
See? Totally different. Now, if you had Red She-Hulk, who is the averagely intelligent chick who turns into a big, angry chick, then you'd have a problem.
Well, yes, that is the accurate portrayal in the comics. But who's to say they simply forsake the major characteristics and make five brutes smashing shit up?
See, the interesting thing is that Red Hulk has essentially replaced Hulk in 90% of the Marvel universe. In fact, they don't even call him "Red" any more, just Hulk. And the only real place you see Green Hulk is in the Hulk titles.
I'm still not sure of which I am less happy - that Red Hulk is an Avenger, or that Flash Venom is an Avenger. Both anger me quite a bit. They're just giving away membership these days. They used to be more scrupulous.
I know. Red Hulk started as Jeph Loeb's worst idea in a long, sad history of bad ideas, and has only gotten worse since then.
Fuck Red Hulk. Fuck everything about him. Fuck the way he ruined a truly great character by becoming his alter ego, fuck the way he's somehow become more important than the real Hulk, fuck the way he's barged into Marvel like an unwanted house guest everyone's too polite to demand he get the fuck out, fuck his godlike abilities, and JUST FUCK RED HULK GOD FUCKING DAMN IT
Okay, so, apparently Hugh Laurie is going to be playing the bad guy in the RoboCop remake... but what really struck me was that Samuel L Jackson is going to be in the movie too... suddenly I had visions of Iron Man vs RoboCop... /facepalm
The thing about Misfits season 3 is only Rudy and Curtis, the characters on each end, will still be in it. The other three are leaving the show, and getting replaced.
So went and saw Promethesus today.. Fassbender rocked ! Couple science and medical inconsistencies..
For example..Friend of my had a c-section and there was no way she or any other woman I have known to have one would be able to get up like they had nothing done to them.. but I digress.. I thought overall it was a very good film. Sure they could have delved a bit deeper into who this alien race was.. but all in all liked it.
The fact there was no one but me and my fella in the theatre made it all that much better..
