Still in school, summer is quickly approaching, and I am about to get fucking swamped with coursework -__- otherwise, can't complain, I've been looking for a job in my field of study, failing that I'll probably look back to retail (I used to cashier for Wal-Mart)
Well, good luck with that. I still have to get my ass in school. Making >$10 an hour working my ass off after 7 years of employment is starting to bug the shit out of me.
depending on your field the turnover may or may not be worth it, I've been in college for 4 years now, with 1 year left. Starting wages will be around $10-$15/hr for me (hopefully)
I plan on going to MLT (Medical Lab Technician) school. I can get a job at the place I'm already employed and it will up my pay to about $15 an hour. I'd have to get some prerequisites out of the way and the program is 2 years. After that I can work a bit before getting Chemistry 2 and a year of Organic Chemistry out of the way and whatever else I need to get my bachelors and take a test to become a CLS (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) which will up the pay to about $22 an hour.
Yeah, but the thing is, I really don't care, the only benefit I would get from a star is access to the sponsor forum, seeing as they are starting the new season after I go back home, where I have no internet connection.
