He's a fat, unfit excuse for a soldier, as I'm sure Sarge could tell you. From the mess he creates in the animated short, I also think that the one thing that stops him from having as high a Team Kill score as Caboose is the fact he is usually too lazy to fire a gun.
I think it's safe to say that it's April, and we've seen no previews on TV on either Comedy Central or G4. Plus, by now more stuff would have been leaked. If it has been picked up by either network (probably G4) then it won't air for a while. I'm sure they're probably still in the production stage, as animation takes a ton of time, especially with a smaller crew.
I've heard they will start showing the animated show between the end of April to July. I think they'll wait for Revelations to finish before they show the animated season. Plus, if the season proves to be popular, there will be more. Well that is guarantied right off the bat.
If you guys are watching the new season, I'm pretty sure it would be safe to say it's animated; the CGI animation's pretty darn good.
Unless you're really stuck on 2-D, cell-shading style of animation, it would seem like Halo:Legends sorta deflated that sail. Besides, the whole ideology behind RvB is residing within limitations (of, say, a video game) and sorta busting through that wall, literally, when acceptable. Cell-shading style of animation would have none of these limitations, and would be just like any other story being told.
But then again, that's the whole point of RvB:Animated. Cheers to one helluva story!
If it was never on a network to begin with, it can't be cancelled.
They may have put it on a back burner if they couldn't find a network with a contract they felt they could work with, and will do more with it later. I know they aren't planning on getting rid of the idea entirely, since they were looking for a network in the first place.
Rumor had it that they were looking at G4 and Comedy Central, but the only place it says that is on the RvB Wikia, so I will not believe it until Burnie or whoever has a legitimate news post about it.
with comedy central having new futurama and Its always sunny on re-run, RvB animated would fit in great. also, G4 could use it since THEY HAVE NO SHOWS besides attack of the show, xplay, cops, cheaters, and "sexy foreign ladies." they may be hesitant because of code monkeys though
I think it would work better on Comedy Central, I think it would last longer there. In fact, I was unaware g4 was still on the air. Haven't watched them in a while.
Is anyone else, other than me freaking out that G4 and Comedy Central STILL haven't mentioned anything about RVB and they supposabely said that it'd release between April-July!?!?!?!?!
I seriously hope so, would be a real shame if they just shelved this project... the fact there has been no official news least gives me hope they are still working on it
My thinking is that it won't happen until it fits into their plans for RvB's overall plot, because I doubt RT would want to split the continuity in two for no real reason. Maybe it could act as an interlude between regular seasons or something - just my two cents though. :P
I really do hope it happens; I absolutely love what we've seen so far.
