I can't wait for this game. Timesplitters Future Perfect was amazing and I'm sure this one will be just as good, if not better. With the spoofs, it kinda makes wonder if they'll include a monkey in a Halo or GoW outfit.
I just hope that in the new game, they still have arcade mode and challenges challenges. In Future Perfect, I blew 3 hours straight playing the Toy Soldiers arcade level over and over again until I placed 2nd on the world leaderboard for that level. :)
(I found out that melee attacks were a good combination with my ability to fire dual pistols asininely fast, so I set fire to right trigger, and melee to left trigger for the quickest results, and did the whole level with LX-18 x2 for about 45 ending kills)
Yeah, arcade mode, challenges, everything should be included. Timesplitters: Future Perfect (the only one I play) is one of the most fully featured console games....like ever.
I just wish the map maker wasn't limited by space, at least not so much. It was hardly possible to make a complicated and extensive map, even of reasonable size. Especially story maps.
I played that one for the first time on GameCube. I was so confused and thought it was distasteful playing 4 player multiplayer, until my friend taught me to play properly in story co-op and I fell in love.
We enjoyed many hours of playing team deathmatch on the map, "Kill Dan!", dedicated to our lovable friend, Dan.
I'm worried now that this game isn't going to be made. Free Radical Design have been hit by the credit crunch and haven't updated their site in 3 months.
on the sentuamessage vid on the 360 they said that whoever owned the rights shut down or sold there company i forgot witch and that timespliters isent being developed anymore but there not going to completely stop it.
still that sucks because it wount be out for a wile and i love this game
I don't think Crytec has the right people for the job, even if some of FRD people where kept. I don't think they can make the game as funny and random as it was in TSFP
as long as crytek keep it as random and funny as the rest if the series then i have full faith in them. Cant wait for it to come out whenever that may be. Played Future Perfect on my Xbox constantly a few years back.

I looked at this topic because I thought it would put back the pieces of my heart that broke when I found out it was cancelled only to have it rebroken.
I still play Future Perfect from time to time when friends come over to drink. It's multiplayer stands heads and shoulders above most online multiplayer games to this day.
