I use DropSend. It's free (5 files/month, but i don't need more), and supports very large files. 5GB, I think. And the neat thing is, you have a small amount of storage space, but if you just send it (not upload), then it doesn't take up the storage space. It only lasts for, like, 14 days, but it's usually downloaded by then.
Yeah, wettransfer is good. I don't know how much you can send, but I've used yousendit.

I honestly don't have access to the footage, the editor has full control of whether the video sees light. We might be able to recover some of the videos, though.
