I haven't in a while, but I used to neg mod political shit.
I feel like the only reason people ever posted political shit is the same reason people talk about it, to gloat why they're a better person for their opinion.
Now I just don't even bother with anything when people post obvious stupid political statements that no one cares about, or is just preaching to the choir. Maybe it helps them blow off steam from their life doing it online.
That being said I thought that particular image was funny, and modded it as so. I didn't even see anything political about that. However I can see where people would neg mod something they deemed political. Just my theory on the neg mods. And honestly no, I don't care enough to discuss my point, or a counter point any further.
