i have two questions are we just supposed to invite our opponents to play a game with us via message? and what if they don't show up?

Yes. If you are in the upper part of the bracket, you set up a lobby and invite. If they don't show, check their profile on Xbox.com (click their gamertag in their RT profile) to see if they are online.

Use this thread to communicate with me and I will give you a forfeit and advance you if there is a no show.

Please try to provide with information to speed this process along. Posts like "having a problem. what do I do?" makes me research and waste time.

A post like "My opponent, <NAME> is not responding. Here's his Xbox profile <LINK> which says he is not even online" is super double plus good.
