Season one of Castle aired March 9 - May 11th, 2009, Monday nights at 10pm on ABC. The first episode is re-airing again this summer Saturday nights at 9pm on ABC (8pm central). If you've missed the episodes, they are available on the ABC site and Hulu. Season two premiered September 21 2009, and the season finale was May 17, 2010. Castle has been renewed for a full third season, 22-episodes.
That's what's so great about Castle. That and it's so realistic. Things like, they bust down the guy's door to arrest him, but he isn't there because he's out buying groceries. I love that.
The only thing that I can't stand is how perfect Castle and his daughters relationship is. I mean, the actors are believable. But the way they interact is just too perfect. That's pretty much my only complaint.
I would just like to thank you for your journals when the show came back. I was always working when the show was on during the season and forgot to watch it on Hulu. When they started to re-air them I made sure to watch them now. I am very glad they decided to save the show for another season. At least there will be one good television show on in the fall now.
Oh, glad to hear it! I want to spread the word as best I can early on so that it's easy to jump in. It's tough to get into a show when it's got ten season of content to watch. (I'm starting to understand why RT ended BGC at 100 episodes. )
After you've seen 1-5 on Hulu, you can watch the rest on ABC. Episode six will be airing this Saturday at 9pm on ABC (8pm for central), next Saturday will be episode 7, etc until the end of the season.
Hulu will release each of the episodes after they re-air on ABC. So you might as well just catch them live.
And yes, they are making a Heat Wave book. The first half will be released one chapter at a time for ten weeks starting in August, and then the book will be available to purchase.
I just found this show and love it. I've always enjoyed Nathan's acting, like a lot of people seem to have as well. There's a line from episode 2 that is stuck in my head at the moment, "And someone better tell me who the hell lives in 8B" I must say I have found my new favorite TV show :)
Ep two has some of the best lines! Like "Your inspiration might strike you sooner than you think" or the whole "You're not young enough, young enough for what?, to have sex, what kind of cops did you say you were?, he's not a cop I'm a cop, and you're looking for someone to have sex with?" Love it!
