New Drama series on FX starring Timothy Olyphant, who plays old-school US Marshal; Raylen Givens. In the pilot episode, Raylen is reassigned from Miami to his home-town area in eastern Kentucky after he shoots and kills a man (who had it coming to him of course) in broad daylight in public.
If you liked Olyphant in Deadwood, then you're certain to enjoy his role as a law man in [link=http://www.fxnetworks.com/shows/originals/justified/]Justified.. The show aires Tuesday nights on FX at 9 pm Central.
damn i wanted to make this thread.... ah well you snooze you lose
i thought this latest episode was kind of weak compared to the previous episodes....but there were two cases.....and it had more of a storyline introducing his parents, and solidifying his relationship with his ex as well as his current romantic relationship
Yes, this was a storyline episode. It wasn't the best episode, but I really enjoyed it. It's nice to see where Raylan stands, who he really is and where he draws the line. Most of the time he is pretty humorous while being stern at the same time, but in this episode, he was all business and attitude. Superman has a kryptonite it seems.
man the latest episode is soo questionable... it's humourous the ending was unexpected, the secondary characters were awesome picks, but it was slow... i recall the episode with the dentist where they have an awesome convo with each other against a sniper.... that was awesome...and furthermore the episode went by fast... i don't know this show is still awesome, and i kind off hate watching it online.... i prefer supporting through tv viewership... (unfortunately we don't have FX) but well with this type of so-so episode, the show could possibly end... but i digress lets not say those types of things...this is nevertheless an amazing show
i say this because all of my asumptions were wrong, but were twisted into a better conclusion
SPOILER
I thought this would give him a chance to physically rekindle with Winona
TURNS OUT: nope it was all emotional and mental...plus raylan and the new husband work well together and honestly, i thought he'd win over Winona, but its better he didn't... i kind of liked the character development of her husband (whose name clearly escaped me) i actually hope that they stay together and he sticks with that witness girl
I thought that at the end Raylan would just destroy them thugs... but in the end he went the noble path...allowing them to kill themselves
And lastly that featherweight dude beat the shit out of a black guy....classic stereotypical racial fight.... surprising though.... WHITES WIN AGAIN
I think they will be able to take some liberties with the story now that they have a fan base set up. Not sure if they could slide an unknown brother in there or not.
I must say, I am not a fan of this Winona side plot but other then that the season has played out very nicely. Well, thats not true, I don't enjoy how this random coal lady picks up Boyd randomly and switches his perspective in a single episode. I'd rather they focus more on the plot they started with.
i just come to realization that, the character alongside arlo is not raylan's mother, this can most likely fill the question as to why raylan hates arlo
i'm starting to like that coal lady, as well as boyd and his wife/girlfriend
i knew what the seasons goal is... and it sux that, they already introduced the main fight... thatt's all i shall say for now
