Vladimir in Max Payne 2. In the final battle he just sits there throwing molotovs while you struggle to shoot him down.It took me many attempts and it wasn; helped by the difficulty the game already demonstrates.
That freaking fish boss near the middle of Gears of War 2. That damn thing took me an hour to beat. I'm not the brightest person in the world, but I'm pretty sure it took most people quite a few tries to figure out.
Surely you can't possibly mean the Leviathan? Where you're on the hijacked gunboat and you have to shoot out bulbs in its mouth and avoid the smashing tentacles? I just cannot see the difficulty in that fight. Everything you had to do was right in front of you and it was scripted so you could learn the pattern and learn from any mistakes.
That part where you have to chuck the friggin' grenade into the moving...... thing at the back of the thing's throat is really stupid, especially with the terrible... eh.... grenade-throwing system they have.
I died so many times in that fight the first time I played since I didn't realize the whole point was shooting the pins. I kept trying to shoot the molotovs.
After you figure it out, you can get through that fight in 30 seconds.
I can't say I ever had the same problem. The Grenade aiming system shows you not only where the grenade will land but where it will bounce and you had plenty of time to throw it. Have you played Gears 3? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Lambent Leviathan fight at the start of the game.
Duriel is one of those bosses who for those that fought him first time through thought "WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK WAS THAT?!" when they discovered that their hero was turned into a slab of meat by him.
He was that hard to beat. Compared to the others, the others were far better scaled but as soon as you met Duriel, he was all like "IMMA RAPE YOU BITCH!" and cut you up.
Its great if they don't have a diamond pic ax. Otherwise it isn't too bad. Go in and steal it or kill them if they do. Then they will re-spawn in a black house with only their hand to break out. Perfection.
Eh, shutup. I'm not too used to moving so damn slow.... Also, as previously stated, I am not the brightest gamer out there..... So there. =P In reply to teamkiller12, #487:
