I'll tell you what was a pain on all difficulties:

Bringing Down The Star Destroyer (Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

The teaser trailer for TFU was one of the most badass Star Wars pieces of media I've ever seen to date. And here it was, in-game.

Too bad it wasn't nearly as fucking awesome.

Instead of happening on Coruscant, this "boss" takes place on the junkyard world of Raxus Prime. And it's virtually impossible to bring it down in one volley. Endless wings of TIE fighters harass you, and as you deal with them, the Star Destroyer frustratingly rights itself rather quickly.

Well, that's 3 for Force Unleashed. I'm sensing a pattern.

I don't think this guy needs to be named as we all know this asshat:

Ah yes Halo, we all know and love it well and truly. But how many times have you wanted to just wish away the Brutes? Granted they are not a bad enemy to fight but in all seriousness, they're just annoying. If they aren't spamming you in Brute packs trying to overwhelm you with their Spikers, Maulers, Brute Shots or having their Chieftains smash you across the skull, knocking you 50 feet into the air with their Gravity hammers, they are mauling you with their berserk attack. In Halo 2 this was such a problem as they just went total apeshit and all you can do at that point is either try to club them to death or pelt them full of lead until they fell over. Similiar story with Halo 3 and ODST, once they went berserk on you, you needed to GTFO or be smashed. Makes me wish I could do this to them:

File does not exist.

Then again, all the more reasons why I'm glad the Arbiter did this:

File does not exist.

Yeah simply put, the next time I run into the Brutes, which will most likely be in Halo Reach, I'm going to enjoy assassinating them. Chieftains got nothing on my knife skills.

1) The Boomer Noise from Thhe World Ends With You, especially the Two-Step Boomers. Pretty much evil kangaroos that like to jump up in the air and can deal quite a bit of damage if you have crappy defense. The Two-Step Boomers will jump twice, the second immediately after landing the first. Really annoying if you're trying to use a psych that makes you stationary like the pyro and psychokinesis psychs or the nexus ray psych.

2) Pretty much any Taboo Noise you come across in TWEWY, you can't run form the fuckers, and when you scan for Noise, the Taboo Noise are the only Noise that actively SEEK YOU OUT.

3) Those fucking monkey heartless from the Tarzan level in Kingdom Hearts, especially the gold ones that lob magic spells at you.

4) The leopard that will randomly fight you in certain areas in the Tarzan level in Kingdom Hearts. JUST FUCK OFF ALREADY, I DON'T WANT TO FIGHT YOU AGAIN!

5) Any weaksauce pokemon that you run into frequently in the wild in any pokemon games. Three steps *random encounter* NOT ANOTHER FUCKING Zubat/Goldeen/Magikarp/Fucking annoying pokemon that your level 60 Typhlosion can OHKO despite having a weakness to its element. Even more annoying is they have insta-confusion attacks like supersonic or confuse ray.

The Regi Trio, Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald

Out of all the Pokemon legendaries that roam Hoenn, there are none more frustrating than Regirock, Regice and Registeel. They each come with attacks of their own including the move Superpower and Curse which can cause all sorts of trouble for your pokemon. But the worst of this is when catching them for your pokedex. They'll free themselves like the cocksuckers they are an overload of times before they finally succumb to that one Ultra Ball after you lose nearly half of them trying to catch them. But the reward is worth it, they are Legendaries that live up to their names and plus if you have Diamond/Pearl/Platinum then you'll be able to get the legendary Regigigas which is the grandaddy of the trio.

I'd like to also nominate every Necromorph from Dead Space on Impossible Difficulty.

Starting Chapter 9 right now, and veterans of the game know that these last levels are a BITCH.

Stone Angel - Ghostbusters The Video Game

C'mon, they're angels! Look how cute they are! They shouldn't be any sort of problem, right?
WRONG! They're practically invincible! The only way to kill them, is to Slime teather them straight into a wall! On top of that, you're only helpful ally is Ray. The others are on the other side of an equally invincible Stone gate! In order to open the gate, destroy the invincible stone heads, with the angels. Simple plan, right? No?! Well it's supposed to be. When I slime teather your ass into the stone heads, HIT ONLY THE HEADS! Not the ground, not the surrounding walls, only the heads, so I can open the gate, and get to the final boss! And stop summoning little disposable tomb demon things too!

Oktogi Duo, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath

Here's a video as there are no pictures, they're essentially the two large mechanical octopus-like monsters.: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mH6im0QcS-M

Basically this was one of the hardest boss fights in all of Oddworld Stranger's Wrath (great game too I should add). Here after finally fighting through the HQ of Sekto and past his Wolvark army before running before the entire factory is struck by your allies outside, you finally get to the main office of Sekto. Here though he sends one last obstacle at you. Now usually you fight one of these bastards at a certain point but this time he sends two of them. Oktogi are mean bastards, and alone you can handle far easier. It's mainly when these two start lobbing those green blobs of sticky stuff at you then you're in trouble because they will spam you with it until they get close enough in which case they will rapid spin you until you die, meaning you keep falling over and cannot get back up and fight back.

I can name several,
Golbat first and foremost. I'm trying to find a Jynx, GTFO of the ice cave and go confuse ray people somewhere else.

Mountain lions and coyotes in Red Dead Redemption, "wtf is going on with the dramatic music...bye bye horsie....hold still while I fucking recharge my dead eye to shoot you mfers!!!!"

the magical hobbes in fable 2 that summon wave after wave of skele-hobbes that mosh pit you.

GHOUL REAVERS in Fo3. so strong that I hit one head on with a fatman and it survived.
SUPER MUTANT OVERLORDS. same thing as above except it followed surving the fatman with taking half my health with one tri-laser hit.

Laser Panthers on Brütal Legend, blow up my druid plow in 3 hits will ya?!

Mountain Lions, Bears and Wolves. Coyotes aren't so bad in Red Dead Redemption. Wolves on the other hand will try to maul you in packs with hit and run tactics until you die. Mountain Lions/Cougars meanwhile don't full around. I remember doing the side quest where you have to investigate the missing people in Armadillo and came across the first bone site. Immediately after checking this out a mutherfucking cougar leapt out of the bushes and mauled me. At that point my guy had fallen over with the Cougar preparing to come around like a shark and attack me again. I immediately jump back up, pull out my revolver and let it loose on that bitch. I survived suffice to say but damn I hate them.

Bears are really bad when you get to Blackwater in the game. They will kill you at the earliest moment they can and make short work of your mount. My advice is, if you're going into the mountains, always have that Bolt Action Rifle or Shotgun at the ready, they take a large amount of hits to go down.

Ah yes the Laser Panthers in Brutal Legend. :D Of all the wild creatures you meet, they are the worst.

I think one of the harder fights in the game has gotta be with Ophelia and her army (the harder one being General Doviculus), the worst part is when you cross the bridge and demolish the two towers with your Rock Crusher (a.k.a. Greatest vehicle ever created in gaming history), you then have to fight her Reapers which will mow your infantry to bits unless you have Fire Barons flanking you (seriously they will kill almost everything you throw at them).

Oh I have another one:

media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/993/292598-1216049747_drones_super.jpg

Drones (Yanme'e or "Buggers"), Halo Series

You know that when you are helping out some Marines and you see this happen, you just think to yourself. "Oh this is not a good day...". Yes the Drones whom we first met back in Halo 2. These guys will always be attacking in swarms, causing all sorts of haywire and chaos that come with them. They're like the neighbourhood pest that everyone wants to get rid of. And when they come, they come. Much spam and gunfire ensues following such a confrontation. They will spam the vajeesus out of you with Plasma pistols and Needlers and just love to fly around you all the time. This did not change much in Halo 3 either, and like in Halo 2 they could also land on your vehicle and start to slap the shit out of you if you weren't careful.

In ODST however they were worse. Not only were they proven to be carnivorous but also appeared to attack in ranks too. Not just green ones but also white ones and red ones. These ones also had shields whilst the Red ones were equipped with Brute Plasma Rifles and were stronger in shields. Then you had the Gold ones with much stronger shielding who also gave you plenty of hell in the campaign. Thankfully, they took a raincheck in Halo Wars before coming out again in full force in ODST but have now been cut from Firefight in Halo Reach. Whether or not they are in the campaign is unknown. We certainly hope not.

But there's one other that's even worse than the Drones. And we all know who that is...this is a creature that's so evil that it makes players cry themselves to sleep at night. This one below is a bad, bad enemy who we all hate and loath with a passion, just love to hate so much but we know it would never be Halo without this guy. I warn you all to be prepared to be shocked, disgusted, horrified and afraid of this creature:

The Flood, Halo Series

OH MY GOD! RUN AWAY!!!!

Well that's the occasional reaction when you see about 100 of these things come at you. I even bet this is what the marines thought when they first encountered it on the Shield World and Alpha Halo:

"Oh my god its a jellyfish of some sorts...it's so cute...can I keep one sarge, can I? can I? can I?....*voice cuts out here to the sound of screaming right after the marine picks one of them up, this follows by gunfire and then more screaming.*"

Yep, Flood start as cute little popcorn jellyfish, that is until they come into contact with flesh of another creature. Then they infest it until it looks like a SUPER HYPER ULTRA KILLER NINJA SPACE ZOMBIE and then turn it against you. Even as an infection form they are relentless. If your shield was down and a whole bunch of these things came at you, consider yourself screwed at that point. We all remember fleeing for our lives to get back to the surface of that facility in Halo 1 after fighting hundreds of them along with the combat forms. The relief to find a team of several marines was overwhelming. What wasn't good was the fight to the evac zone and when you got to that crevice between the two hills. Infection forms pouring all over your marines made you want to run it. They stood no chance against the infection or against the combat forms who would leap like they were spiderman and then whip you with their claws. Oh and lets not forget about those moments where they had Rocket Launchers...

Then there's the Carrier Forms who exploded like grenades throwing down more of their little demon children at you in hopes of devouring you. The Shotgun was your best friend at this point. They basically kill off almost everyone you knew and loved, even Captain Keyes (we all died a little when we couldn't save him) At least your Elite pals in Halo 2 fared better than the Marines did. They were still vicious in Halo 2, not to mention we got to meet Gravemind who looks like a giant venus fly trap (very cool for a god form). Then in Halo 3 they came back, but now with the Pure Forms who were just as bad. They had the power to morph between three forms Stalker, Tank and Ranger. Stalker's spooked ya, Ranged forms spammed you, and Tank Forms smashed you.

Made the ending to Halo 3 all that more satisfying, knowing you won the war.

Brute Hero, Fuel Rod Chieftain (Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST)

I know another pic was up, but that gold Brute had a Brute Shot, not as nearly as frustrating.

I swear, that damn gun fires 3 times faster when THEY have it.

Well when I said Brute, I meant ALL Brute Ranks in general. They're all annoying to tackle with but satisfying to be rid of.

But that's fine if you want to list the Gold Brute Chieftain as one frustrating enemy.

Let's not forget the Hammer Cheiftains have the Invincibility.

Redead's from several Legend of Zelda games

Not only did these things scare me when I was a younger, they were a pain in the ass to get around. If they spotted you, your stuck for at least 10 seconds as they slowly come to eat your brains. Currently its tied with that creepy hand that came down from ceilings.

That's the best picture I could get for it. I don't know exactly what its called.

Trypticon: War for Cybertron

It's one of those multistage boss battles again, and the only way to defeat this large, attack spamming boss is to hit small glowing panels on him. And he's constantly moving around. And his attacks can quickly drain your health, even if you are Optimus. Also, he spams you with spiders. FUCKING SPIDERS. To make matters worse, the only weapon that is actually effective on him is the Cybertronian equivilent of..............A FUCKING BATTLE RIFLE FROM HALO.

Somewhere, MLG is laughing their 13-year old asses off at this.
