This changes everything. Every time someone dummy-fires me, I give them a nice message. First time I sent a "nice shot," second time an "i aint even mad!"
I actually dummy-fired a spawnkiller like that yesterday. You are ok in my book.
It's satisfying. I did it once with the M320 against a transport. I was immediately banned from the server for "hacking". Too many people these days are unfamiliar with the term "luck".
Yesterday I was actually killed by admin whilst I was on the defending team and then was put on the offensive team where I ended up losing (on the the last emcom) as opposed to having have won the game had I stayed where I was.
Because most of the admins are dicks. I usually just stick to the one TDM server now. 300% tickets, but the admins don't take any bullshit, like MAV lifting for instance.
I was in a tdm on seine crossing and almost single handed held down the three or four story building that covers almost all approaches with an M60, claymores and a 1911 tac. I got kicked by an admin, no reason given. Around the time i think my score was 23-5ish. I hate servers with no weapon bans listed that hate how effective you can implement them. You can toss a frag or just crouch if you want to avoid claymores, anyway.
exactly. I'm always seeing people sprint into to a building hit a claymore and sprint in again and then rage quit when they keep getting killed by the same guy. Im gonna quote a game here and say"it is crazy to do something over and over again and expecting to just change".
I just wanted to know if i'm the only person that hates the rent-a-server layout. Like i don't mind that people can do that, but I'm sick of getting into games where the mods do whatever the fuck they want, like i could just be doing my thing, i die, and then the screen says "killed by admin" or w/e.
some employees freed up and reduced costs for running a server it was going to happen eventually yes but i agree that the rate at which the dice servers were eliminated was a lot faster than i would have liked. dice needs to be somewhat unbiased as to attract a wide audience the average American isn't concerned about that. they're concerned about having a good time and they're not gonna wait on a guy to fuck up that plan. its unfortunate that things cant work out to where everyone is happy by the end of the match but we do what we can.
just imagine your playing in a world run by the god from the old testament, the one who's vindictive, has a short temper and doesn't take shit from anybody. if your playing a game with a guy like that keep your head low enough so that the all you need to worry about is the bullets
Anyone else struggling with the game after the patch. I am, so much so I haven't played it since the release of the patch. I don't know what they've done but they've some how sucked the enjoyment out.
As a pilot, I'm struggling but adjusting. I just talked with 3 PC players yesterday, and they all told me that laser-guided rockets are distracted by flares on the PC, which is in line with patch notes. On the xbox, laser-lock rockets cannot be distracted (post-launch) by anything for attack choppers.
So now I'm still insta-killed by javs and spammed tank shells, only now I have to use flares instead of the ECM because flares are infinitely more useful in chopper vs chopper. When a laser-lock rocket is fired at me, the only hope of survival is if me and the gunner bail, because sometimes the rocket seems to fuck off if the vehicle is empty.
Played a conquest match on Oman today. We were the US and we were up 400 tickets (this was on a 300% server). The enemy magically made a turnaround and started teaming up with Javelins and SOFLAM's. We'd launch an attack, maybe take one base, then immediately be destroyed and pushed back. I at least finished par and shot down six aircraft with SMAW's. I also got 110 gamerscore from the "jaws" achievement, the achievement where you had to get a kill with all of the B2K vehicles, and the achievement where you get a ribbon for each vehicle class. All-in-all, worth it.
I can always make my server avaliable to the Rooster Teeth/ Achievement Hunter community with good server rules and I will pick good and smart admins that are on the website.
Set the maps to conquest (hardcore or normal) on attack chopper maps, no more than 150% normal tickets, with a few simple rules, and I'll play and fairly admin the fuck out of it:
no laser-lock rockets allowed against aircraft, no base-raping or spawnkilling, no teamkilling for vehicles.
