ok i'm just started season 9 with subtitle (spend most of the week catching up all other seasons before on transcript so it's so damn good to be able to watch the video with subtitle)
now i got a question, when we start off with church, is this a new memory or new timeline? i'm confuse here....and please no spoiler since i on epsidoe 3
Wow I read that wrong, I thought we were in the season 10 thread. So, Church is in the unit. Just go with that. It is present day, but he is inside the Epsilon unit.
Just remember that this is Epsilon (Recovered from the storage facilitiy, transferred into the eyeball 300, then into a replacement body) who went voluntarily into the AI storage unit to look for Tex at the end of season 8. He decided, based on stories from Caboose, to experience Blood Gulch. Church as we knew him from seasons 1-6 died in the EMP at the end of season 6 (because he was really the AI Alpha) Epsilon is taking on the mantel of "Church" since Caboose and everyone else (mostly) consider him and refer to him as such.
Yeah, just Epsilon. You know, I think I like Epsilon better than I did Church. Church's aneurysms were very funny, but I like Epsilon better as a person.
I agree with Bradley here. It's not really about what he does, it's the way he is. He's a kinder soul than Church. He's also best friends with Caboose, and that's a plus.
as far as i know, tex IS a ai....but of what AI i do not know
so i'm gonna guess that she is still somewhere out of the memory unit, since the rest of the gang get Epsilon out so it make sense for her to get out while they left it could happen lol, i want tex back lol
But they always manage to bring her back. Think of it as re-remembering, and her ghost comes back. It's likely she will come back to the plot and possibly start bitching at Carolina, probably unaware she was ever "forgotten", or if she knew, wouldn't let Church have another quiet moment.
I don't think Church/Epsilon's memories were just based on Caboose's memories because if that would be true, Sarge would be a pirate, and Donut would've been a girl. He had gathered memories from other people over time.
Yeah, I think the memory of Tex is gone. Kinda, but Epsilon still know here, and is looking for her. After all he did say Tex...the real Tex? When he came out of the Epsi-Pod.
Burnie has said many times, that we will assume that all the characters know about events that happen onscreen. It would be silly to show Wash, or Caboose telling Epsilon about how the whole thing went down. I completely think he knows whats going on.
That doesn't really fit AChurch's character though, and that's why I don't like him. Sure he's nicer, but I don't think AChurch really hated the guys as much as he pretended to.
in season 5, after the pelican crash, did anybody found tex body? in season 8, when Achurch and caboose went to the off-site freelancer facility what did church do to bring tex back...was that copy of tex or what? season 9/20: what did he really mean that the real tex is alive? when meta killed her with the memory unit/spike, (yes i know tex is ai but again)
