just of think of it as being why you like ponies. You can come up with all the reasons why you like the show you want, but when it comes down to it, you just saw it, you liked it, and that's how it is. You can give whatever reason for it, but if you were to go back to discovering ponies, it was really just more of a "Alright, this is what I like." Not to say either way is good or bad, but that's just how the it is.
This may or may not have been a good analogy, but in my mind, it made sense.
Guys, whats the best approach for making your own pics? I figure with everyone always complaining about reposts, the only way to be sure its new is to make it myself. Only I have zero artistic talent and little experience with photo editing
You could always just take screen shots of episodes and caption them.. I do that sometimes, if I think of one funny enough.
But if you wanted to draw ponies, I'd start with just tracing them on paper, and keep doing that till you can draw by just referencing the picture, then keep doing that until you can draw them from memory.
Here's a composition mockup of my latest project. It will eventually be transferred to drawing paper and inked. And yes, the creepy background ponies will eventually have faces (and costumes).
