A thread for discussing, suggesting or posting your own attempts at Things to do in Games!
I had an idea for one in SR:TT, one person jumps out of a helicopter and pulls out their parachute, while the other player drives along. The aim is for the parachute to land in the partner's moving car.
Things to do in.....mass effect 3-skeet shooting. first, someone needs to acquire a character with the pull ability(singularity and lift grenades may also work, but not as effective) the drell vanguard is ideal for this in multiplayer.
have someone pull an enemy into the air(must have only health to do so-no armor or shields). when in a good position, have somebody snipe this person while still suspended.
to make it more interesting, have somebody use the throw ability(human sentinel has this) on the already suspended person and shoot him while hes flying very fast. the higher the enemy is lifted, the more effective this will be. just be cautious of the fact that throw does a lot of damage to the average enemy, so make sure they have a lot of health left before doing this.
You also have to be weary of pull. if you pull them too much, they may die from it. if you dont pull enough, they could possibly fall to their death. I'd reccomend bronze difficulty, and only attempt on the last few enemies of a wave. wouldn't want some geth pyro to ruin your fun, would you?
Just discovered that if you just tap the attack button with a bow, and shoot a guard with an arrow, they don't attack back, at least until you kill one of them. This has lead me to trying to do arrow trick shots into the heads of guards, just a fun thing to do
Things to do in Skyrim: The Slaughter House. So theres a glitch where if you change location mid way through someones idle dialogue(arrow to the knee lines) they'll follow you to the new location, like your house in whiterun.
The game goes as follows; Stand outside your house and wait for a passing guard, walk next to him until he starts his dialogue and quickly move inside, if it works the guard is now in your house finishing his conversation, Quickly crouch and sneak behind him to perform an assassination(shrouded handwraps/daggers are useful). you can now strip the guard clean and drag his body further into the room and repeat until your house is full of dead bodies.
Be careful and perform a sneak kill, housecarl's do not take kindly to their thanes murderous passtimes and will alert more guard to arrest you if they see you killing people.
Things to do in Minecraft: Empires at war 2 teams of 4 people. Each team builds a castle, or home base, for 4-8 night cycles either on peaceful or easy. On the last night cycle the teams Put a chest somewhere in the castle but there has to be a sign saying that the chest contains the Flag which is a block/ingot of gold. In the beginning each team gets half the map. Once done by both teams the host ends the game turns on the hardest difficulty and each team tries to collect the other teams flag.
IMPORTANT: 1. You can not build a base entirely underground it has to be at least 8 X 8 standing at least 6 blocks high. 2. All tunnels that are to be considered open play areas must be built with 4 blocks open ex: if you dug straight down and decided you wanted to start a tunnel looking forward you would have to dig 2 blocks on the top and 2 blocks on the bottom so that 2 people would fit down the corridor in a straight line. 3. There can also be rooms connected to the corridors as long as they are level with the corridor outside the room. 4. The corridor you built can have an adjacent mining area connected to it but it can not be included in the open play so you couldn't put your Flag in there. 5. There can be secret passage ways made out of mined cobblestone (so that there is obviously something out of place) or Obsidian however when you fill them they can't be larger then 4x4Blocks blocking the path and if you try to fake the other team out you have to dig out the next group of 4 / 2x2 blocks ( 2 length and 2 width. secret passage ways can't be placed tunneling down.) and leave a sign that says "fooled you." which can only be used for dead ends. 6. If your flag is underground and you somehow managed to encase it in a room of obsidian or some other material and it goes more then 4x4 blocks deep you have to have a clear door frame, with torches and a sign saying that the flag is in the next room. 7. I understand you may want to stop the other teams progress in your tunnels but you can't mine out the area above a section of tunnel, put lava there and mine out a block from the ceiling if the other team is progressing to fast. However you can do everything I just said if instead of mining out that part yourself you place a trapdoor and also have a pressure plate placed to activate it. 8. You can't build a stairway going deeper then 6 blocks but you can build a stairway make a little tunnel and build another set of 6 blocks. 9. If you dig a tunnel going straight down you have to provide ladders or make a pool of water at the bottom. 10. If there is a pool of water at the bottom have enough for someone to drown themself with. 11. If they need to get back up the hole they should have been smart enough to bring ladders with them. or dig their own damn tunnels back to the top. ALSO IMPORTANT: You can build a castle in the sky however on the ground floor around the castle there has to be 3 blocks extending outward around the castle. at the front of the castle there has to be at least 10 base blocks extending outwards as well as a connection to the ground so you can build blocks of stairs leading to a bridge however if the bridge is more then 10 base blocks long you can pour lava on the bridge or place a block of tnt between every 6 blocks in the bridge. Rules FOR SECONDARY BASES: 1. Before you build other bases you must have 1 Block of gold that signifies the home base and the other bases must also have flag capture chests that are clearly marked and each contain 1 additional gold ingot for base number ex: Homebase=1 gold block then S.Base 1 has 1 gold ingot then S.Base 2 has 2 gold ingots et cetra. 2. You have to capture each secondary base before capturing the home base. 3. After a teams secondary Base flag has been captured the ingot(s) along with the base belongs to the opposing team, that means supplies that were in chests in the base and all the materials used to build the base. 4. Secondary bases must have centralized storage on the first floor. EX: A closet in the back of the building which has a furnace, chest and and building crate thing. 5. If you build mining tunnels in the area around the secondary base those supplies must go towards building the secondary base or in the centralized storage chest. (CSC) 6. Secondary bases can only be built during Peaceful cycles and Outposts made during war cycles can be upgraded to an S.B. as long as it is not behind an enemy secondary base. Rules FOR ASSAULTING AND DEFENDING: 1. When assaulting and defending a flag anything goes. If your team builds a maze with cobbelstone and at the center of the maze is your teams flag that's fine but the other team can just use a pickaxe and dig right through. 2. You can build miniature outposts in enemy territory for mining however you can only mine inside the perimeter of the house. 3. If you build multiple outposts during the Attack cycle you can build tunnels connecting each of them during the peaceful cycle. 5. During the peaceful cycle the other team can't disrupt your tunnels or mining but as soon as the war cycle begins again they can disrupt your tunnels and mining as much as they want. 4. At the end of 3 Night cycles both teams return back to their respective castles, the host ends the game and turns on peaceful/easy mode.
Something that was popular back in Halo 3's prime was called HLG. A mockery of the MLG tryhards, one team would gain the lead at the beginning of the game and then hide in clever places around the map until it ends. The final score would be like 5-3 and the other team would rage in the lobby. Of coures, some "hiding spots" actually require a lot of practice to get into.
Saints Row 3: body juggling. throw a random person into the air and use a fully upgraded .45 Shepard to see how many times you can bounce them without them hitting the ground.
In operation Flashpoint Dragon Rises Versus mode reenact black hawk down. Have your team get in a chopper and fly over your friends team until you are shot down. Then crash land the helicopter and see how long you can survive.
So i proposed this one in the Let's play thread but i thought it would be a good idea to have it as a 'things to do' aswell.
Game: Minecraft Activity: The Running Man Special rules: turn off "appear on map" function, set difficulty to easy A game for 2+ players, 1-3 player(s) will be designated the 'Runner' an will be given 1 full day and night to prepare/escape, they can use this time however they wish, from building traps to simply hiding in a hole. At dawn the 'Stalkers' are free to begin the hunt, likewise they can use any methods they like to find and eliminate the runners. players are given 1 life with the spawn point being set at a prebuilt 'deadzone' and the game lasts for a predetermined time chosen by the players or until all the runners/stalkers have been killed.
