Apparently iOS based products are the leading "hand-held gaming platforms". With the addition of Game Center in the update last year they even have achievements now. Since I don't have an Xbox (yet) this is my only achievement fix.
So lets talk about our favorite Game Center games and just general iOS game stuff.
I could honestly see them killing the market for other hand-held gaming devices. The abundance of "free" trials of games I think would be the nail in the coffin. You cant get free trials for DS or PSP games.
I'm not IOS, but Android. Looks like Apple decided to create their own way to do what other companies already do (ie openfeint). Great for general gamers on the go.
it looks really cool but i don't have iOS 5 cause my ipod is ancient and i can't get it so i'm going to get a new one when the fifth generation touch comes out.
I wish gamecenter would take hold. Most developers only use it for achievements and leaderboards, but I know it can do so much more. I had high hopes that it would be the iOS version of Xbox Live. Sadly, I don't see that kind of steam. :(
