I am starting to wonder, with the small link between the people of Bioware and RT, how long until we see some voice cameos by popular RT staff in SWTOR? similar to the easter eggs in Halo 3.
First 30 minutes is really funny. I wished they talked more about PAX East and the awesome announcements they made (especially with what they're doing with the podcast). The rest wasn't bad though, Adam is really funny.
They seemed to downplay Ray being hired but I assume he'll be pulled into the podcast at some point in the future to talk about it. The rest of the cast was funny as hell, even the SWTOR was interesting even though I don't play.
I liked the first segment. The second was rather boring and uninteresting. It was just about the same fucking game. The Mass Effect Spoiler segment was good because it was more exciting, it had more laughter.
yeah did they ever mention Nathan Barnatt getting kick out of pax because I listen to it and all I heard was about the blonde cosplayer almost getting kick out.
I happen to be good friends with Jessica Nigri, and this whole week, every podcast i listen to has had a little segment about her getting asked to change at PAX.
first off she said that kotaku kinda blew the story out of proportion, but since PAX has that "no booth babes" rule, and she was technically there at the behest of the guys at Kadokawa, she understood pretty quickly.
Curious. If it proves a hit, can you see RT having multiple official podcasts going? The RT podcast could talk more about the life and culture and crazy things they come across as a company, "Spoilercast" (patent pending) could focus more on gaming. I was really impressed by Adam and Jack's knowledge of the game, and I haven't even played The Old Republic.
What do you think?
Do you think "Spoilercast" could become a separate podcast?
I do believe that "Spoilercast" could have some legs. However, I do believe that the Spoilercast should not necessarily have a set release schedule like the Rooster Teeth Podcast. I would love there to be an in depth discussion of AAA titles meaning that when there are more games out they produce more Spoilercasts, but when there is a dearth of AAA titles they should not feel obligated to produce Spoilercasts.
I'd like that. It would be cool to have Adam and Jack (or whoever else) talk about games to a further degree (such as spoilers, tricks, interveiws, and stuff). But I think it would be more fitting if it was under Achievement Hunter then just RoosterTeeth as a whole. And would it be just for games? Like for example: if "Spoilercast" started during the same time Lost was airing, would they talk about the episodes on there?
P.S. I agree with Wookie72 on the non-scheduled release date. If they had a release date, I fear they wouldn't be as depth as we (the audience) would want them to.
honestly, of all the "Famous Cosplayers" she is by far the most down to earth. i run a cosplay podcast out of LA so i've had a chance to talk to a lot of the other big cosplayers and so many others just diva it up
I loved the story of Brandon and Chris just destroying a room in Burnie's house attempting to take down the projector.
In reply to Count3D, #22: The spoiler cast can become a separate podcast, but it should be for great game discussion as well as other things such as movies and books.
That's a good point about Lost. It could definitely be used to for in depth discussions about films and television instead of solely about video games.
As a side note, the Podcast discussion of Lost is the main reason I started watching. I plan on doing the same thing with Mass Effect after I take the bar.
That's really awesome! My fiance and I are really fascinated by cosplay and we'd love to get into it, but we definitely don't have the time or money (I'm a college student graduating this summer, I work part-time, and I take care of our home, and he works full-time to pay bills and such). Plus we couldn't afford to travel anywhere to take part in events, and there's none nearby because we live in Minnesota.
Anyway, sorry for the ramble, I just love hearing about people who are involved in cosplay, and I love admiring their work! :)
Adam and Jack could honestly be the same person. Their voices sound WAY to alike for me to hear a difference. They could be the same guy to my ears. Do either of them talk while the other is drinking water?
