"If you could have any super power, which would you have and why?"
Mine would be time travel, as you could pause time and potentially have ANYTHING you wanted. You could use it for material gains, you could save lives from imminent danger etc. However your own perception of time would become non-existent. You would have your own independent time frame. Scary stuff!
Or i would have the ability to learn anything as soon as i see it/Hear it. This could be playing an instrument, cooking a meal, hearing a foreign language, martial art etc.
I'd love to have phasing as a superpower like Kitty Pryde, Normally I'd choose control over time and space but that would seem to omnipotent and frankly kind of an easy answer. With phasing you could never get hurt and break into every building or even let light pass trough you and become invisible.
The best power would be to turn anything into cheese. it would really do a villain over and plus since there are so many different types of cheese you could pick specific ones for certain situations, like turning a car into bree to catch a falling person.
The ability to control air pressure at will. Think about it I could suck the air out of your lungs or crush you with pressure greater than the deepest ocean.
Problem with time travel is that the further you go back, the more you change the present. And you will change the present, even if you just send back a single molecule of air.
Me? I'd go for invulnerability. That would let me train myself up to get super strength, and I'm already a fair shot. I could just run in there guns blazing, and not give a shit about return fire.
First stop would be Iran, then North Korea, then take a tour of the -Stans and maybe pop by Africa. I figure that most of the dictators will be gone in a few years, so then I'll keep myself busy hunting terrorists. Once that's done, I'll buy my own aircraft carrier with the loot I liberate and retire to a steel beach somewhere in the Pacific.
If I was the only one to have a power, I would say either telekinesis or some form of shadow manipulation. Telekinesis because its just badass to be able to move things with your mind. Can't see a drawback to having telekinesis since it doesn't exert some strange force on the person or changes the composition of a person. Shadow manipulation just because i enjoy the night and the possibility to just merge into the shadow and travel through it would be amazing.

Hmmm. Well I think I'll just go the villain route and have the power to steal powers, permanently. Heroes, villains, all would bend to my will.
Though one evening whilst having a sugar high, I thought up the power of 'Sonic X-Ray Vision'. I've never heard of any power like, but then again it's kinda batshit. Pretty much anytime I spoke the sound of my voice would penetrate through anything, such as walls or people, layer by layer, and I could see the process, thus the 'X-Ray'. How far the sound penetrated would depend on the volume of my voice. Though it would have no off switch, besides me not speaking at all; though sun-glasses or shutting my eyes may hinder it. I could use it to find people trapped in a building, see for any possible tumors.... Use it for thievery. etc.
They've got sonar and sonic imaging devices. Scientists use them all the time. Though it actually has more trouble passing through air than solid objects.
Well I've heard of ultra sounds and the like, but I meant something more like actually seeing things, not an image from the sound bouncing. It's making less sense now without all the sugar, but meh, regular x-ray vision didn't really make sense either.
Talk to a petroleum engineer. They know more about it than I do, but there's two ways to do it. Rapid changes in density will reflect sound waves back at their source, so if you know the speed of sound in a certain material, or have multiple receivers, you can figure out where objects are. Also, because different materials conduct sound waves at different speeds, you can build up a density map if the density changes more gradually.

That is the best super power I can imagine, it would come with super speed, super kicks, and the best part super jumps. Always thought this would be awesome many disagree.
I say, if you're going to have any super power, you've got to have some kind of weakness to stop you from using this ability.
My super power would probably be Electric Manipulation (and Absorption). As for my weakness to stop me from using this ability, I have no idea. It's difficult to choose a weakness upon yourself. But, you know where I'm going with this...
I would want the gift of teleportation. You know that movie Jumper (the movie where that one guy could go anywhere he wanted if he just remembered what the place looked like), I want to be like that. Save a hell of alot of money!
i would want mind control. but i would want it kind of passive, you know not make them zombies but only change something like an opinion or make them want to do something.
My rule would be to never go back in time more than a few minutes. I know that changing major moments in the past is a no go. Future is fine, but i wouldn't alter the past!
I would have the power to create duplicates of myself. I would just stay at home while others of me go out, work, and do other errands. The problem would be that every time I duplicate, my stamina or energy would be shared equally. so 10 duplicates would equal 1/10th stamina. When stamina runs out the duplicate would just disappear, and the original me would gain everything the duplicate learned and discovered and and would only have 50% energy left, assuming it was only that one clone. Of course when someone gets tired, or loses stamina, eating or sleeping would help but only the original can do that.
Hands down, super strength. You can bend, break and destroy anything. You're the boss haha, tough choice on whether I'm using it for evil or good though.
I would love to have the power over electronics. So I could fix shit just by thinking about it and change my T.V. without a goddamn remote. FUCK REMOTES
Oh dude! The best powers have gotta be either being psycic or cloning! you could make your own alabies for all sorts of shit, or game and go to school(provided you get to remember both clones experiences) or just mind fuck people by predicting there every move!
