I realise that some people just play without an OCD attitude, but I have a huge list of games backing up. Let's see if anyone can beat the length of my to-do list:
To finish: AC2, Fallout 3, Dead Rising 2.
To play all the way through: New Vegas, Skyrim, Bulletstorm, L4D2, COD (MW, MW2 and MW3 singleplayer), Dead Island, Half Life
To have 2nd play-through: Mass Effect 3 (insanity run), LA Noire (with achievement guide)
Finish collectibles/achievement hunting: AC1, crackdown 2, Red Dead, GoW3, Portal 2, Saints 3 and the above.
I reckon that's around 300-400 hours at least. I reckon the Bethesda games will be the downfall.
Currently I don't have too much to do. Short term I need to finish The Witcher so I can buy the second on Xbox, and long term is to hit level 50 with my Sith Sorcerer in The Old Republic. I also need to run through the latest DLC in Kingdoms of Amalur.
my list is so long>< still need to finish the fallout games, also started mass effect from the beginning again.want to finish AC rev before the third comes outand need to hunt achievments in the other AC games. more important i finally need to finish games i just lended from my friend (bayonetta, splinter cell, Castelvania LoS, the force unleashed,....) so enough to do for the rest of the year
L.A. Noire, Fallout 3, Skyrim, FF13-2, Mass Effect 3 and Kingdoms of Amalur, got an extra-long weekend coming up, that'll be the time to (hopefully) finish 2 of those games.
Lol, I need to finish Mass Effect 1 and 3, Minecraft when it comes out, Prototype 2. And then I'll be renting a bunch of the games I've already played to try and 100% them. I'm somewhat an Achievement Whore
Good luck 1000 pointing ME3. I got about 850 on the first play through and I've started the insanity run. I heavily recommend going through once on normal first to level up.
Yeah, I was planning on doing an easier run and then a harder run. As for 100% I think it all depends on if it has that online pass. (I'm renting it right now) And once I get the chance to play it, if I don't have online access I doubt I'll 100% it until I buy it.
I have to finish Bioshock 2 before Infinite comes out this year. Then I need to finish RAGE, The Saboteur, The Witcher 2, and well, that's about all I can think about. But, These will soon become unrealistic, I know once Diablo III comes out, I won't play anything else for a while.
I know. I've been working on them for a while now, but I'm still in school, so that competes for my time. I've also started to get really restless when playing games, and I can't play for more than an hour and a half at a time now.
Yeah, I might try it. It's part of the reason i quit WoW. I was so un-productive. I hated all the hours I wasted doing nothing, so I really have to space out my gaming now, after five years of non-stop WoW. But I might try that. Because I always listen to the Drunk Tank, but never while playing. So maybe if I consolidate it, I'll have more time for other things.
I've just finished my second playthroughs of ME1 & 2 in preparation for 3 (to have the story progression and choices fresh in my mind). So I guess my to do list is caught up at the moment. I'll just figure out the rest later.
No problem, but yeah definitely listening to podcasts and such gives your mind something to think about during the more boring parts of games that make people so restless.
I feel like my biggest waste is in scary thriller type games similar to Bioshock and Amnesia, because I am constantly stopping movement to look around and not start crying out of fear.
Week of May 6th: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword [Wii] El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron [360] (may continue after Zelda) May 15th+: Diablo 3 [PC] (depends on download time) Eventually: (no specific order) God of War - Ghost of Sparta [PS3] (Origins Collection) (waiting for new controller) Gears of War 2 & 3 [360] Halo 3 & ODST [360] Call of Duty: Black Ops & Modern Warfare 3 [PC] Rage [PC]
Also various Steam games that I bought super cheap on sale, but haven't gotten around to, such as Dead Space series, Hitman series, etc.
Those are all first playthroughs for me. I also want to replay some others, such as LA Noire, Fallout 3 & NV, some classic RPGS, etc.
Finish Dead Space (since I'm filming it in a series "Don't Play Like a Girl..." check it out in my journal entries! :D) and start Dead Space 2 afterwards
On the to do list of finishing: -Catherine (I loooove puzzles, this game is awesome!) -Okami -Shadows of the Damned (awesome gaaame) -Prototype (fucking HELL I can't beat the damn boss!) -Dark Sector
aaaand start the new Silent Hill not enough time in the day!
...And seeing as I'm only missing five so far (Amazingly silly determination I know) I think I have a damn good chance of doing that over the Summer...
-Complete one Mission on Co-op - Halo Wars -Complete Entire Campaign on Co-op - Halo Wars -Achieve the Rank of General - Halo Wars -Be the Last Man Standing in an Infection Match on an Anniversary Map on the final Round - Halo Reach -2FOR1 - Halo 3
...Seriously doubt I'll get 2FOR1, but damn it I'll try...
-Finish Splinter Cell: Conviction -Finish Shadow Complex (On the last part but I'm trying to get all the upgrades) -Finish Dead Space, Skyrim, Halo Wars, Dark Siders, Dead Rising 2 and Kingdom of Amalur -Get the last achievements in Fable Heroes and Trails Evolution.
It's going to be a fun a summer as I race my friends to 40,000G
Nice, and FYI the infection one is on a defiant map only. I'm in the same boat with that one and I think I may never get it.... Damn you 343i for removing the playlists!
-Beat skyrim (meaning get all achievements) -Replay red dead redemption -Replay mass effect 3 on insanity or whatever it's called Then maybe pick up a new game, not sure which one yet, I'm just bored of most of my games right now
