We finally have a release date! (September 25)

I've got a few questions for any one that's played the beta extensively:
1) What's your favorite and least favorite changes?
2) What class are you looking forward to playing the most?

1.) My favorite changes were the newly added battlegrounds, and raid content, least favorite, the majority of stat/class changes, at least to the classes I play.
2.) I'm looking forward to playing a druid again, as well as the monk, which was fun for all 2 lagging hours I was able to get in during the beta :)

I think I really like the changes to Warlocks, even if the attempt at tanking was a 'mistake' I'd still like to see it come into play as an actual possibility.

They had to do something. Locks are terribly gimped in their current state.

Same, I really hope they keep some of the changes made, they were pretty OP in WOTLK, and decent in cata, at least the ones i've seen, so I hope in mist, they get a few good buffs.

I came into this expansion when t13 became easy after a year or so hiatus. It'll be nice to be pushing through new content. I'm glad to hear that you're happy with druids coming up. I was kinda disappointed with them in this expansion.

Oh, nice time to come back. Yeah, Druids were just...meh this expansion, I think it was like that with most classes to be honest

I mostly just like the ability to get different demons. I remember running around Tol Barad with the eyeball on a leash, and now I can have him out as a regular pet.

Yeah, that's pretty nice. Is lock your main class?

I'd have to agree. I came back and had little interest in most of my characters at max level. Priests were my favorite in this expansion. Healing at least.

It's my most geared 85, although I haven't played the game since Ragnarok was current content.

I know this is an incredibly broad question, but how is WoW these days? I haven't played since I finished WotLK raid content before the cata release and I'm debating coming back to it. I used to play a cat/bear druid, a disc priest, a holy/prot pally and an affliction warlock.

To be honest, as someone whose played since release, cata is horrid. End game content is basically a Heroic dungeon, it's easy. Not much to do now until mist. I'd wait until MOP if I were you, unless you want to gear & get 85. Most classes were changed & nothing like they were in LK, especially Druids & locks. Priest dps is OP as heck though.

The only reason I even think of playing WoW anymore is because my friends that play it and I know a lot of them who tend to only play for a few months an expansion, then wait, maybe come back to check out patches. If they could come back for a week instead of a month I bet they would. (Payment wise.)

I completely agree with Klaatu24. I've also been playing since vanilla and this is my least favorite expansion. They have done a few things right though which I hope they will perfect in MoP. I recommend starting at the beginning of September to level up your characters and get a feel for this expansion before they change everything.

I will still have all my T10.5 on my druid from Wrath, if it's like the previous expansions that would probably do me until dungeon level 85 right?

You could manage but even the starting greens will be better for the most part.

Yeah, you can basically use your justice points, and AH gear to gear. It's pretty easy nowadays.

I'm really glad they're changing the way badges/points work with PvE gear. It's gotten far too easy.

Makes it easy for the baddies to get pvp gear with the JP to honor trade.

I still don't know how I feel about the way they've set up the talent system. Tanking instances feels weird too. Did they nerf them for testing purposes?

I'm still confused on the talent system changes. It doesn't make sense too me.

One of my favorite changes wold prolly be the Pet Battles (Pokemon), and least would have to be fixing of stats like every expansion =/.
And I'm definitely looking forward to hopefully owning it up on my boomkin again.

From what I've seen they're trying to make talent trees less cookie cutter and more personalized. I'm not exactly sure how that works in game but I like it.

One thing I've noticed about the less cookie cutter talent trees is that it doesn't really matter what you pick, you'll suit your role either way.

Still going to be rolling with my DK, but I'm pretty neutral with these new talents system, but I guess I'll see in a couple of months.
