You know in the Stangerhood in episode 2 there is a commanding dis-embodied voice that seems to come from the television, and is able to change anything in it's environment - wouldn't that scare the crap out of you, or do you believe that real life is that way?
Once while playing Sims 2, One of the sims sat at the computer and started playing the sims. So I started watching over his shoulder. I was then hit by a disturbing thought and looked over my own shoulder. Great to feed the paranoia. I then had an inexplicable urge to make some pancakes.
I can't stand the Sims 1 and 2 but someone once said to me "what if we were the sims?" that really made me think - gives me goosebumps! Can you imagine someone looking at US on a computer and making us do things, things that we think that we want to do on our own. :-{
I'm sure that not the case. Although IF there is someone controlling me I wish that he would stop me breaking things - I have broken three important things this week, my bike, my laptop, and my computer (WINDOWS & LINUX)
I wish whoever was controlling me would actually make me DO something, so I could make money and whatnot. And is it really too much to ask that he would give me some social skills so I could be out trying to find a girlfriend instead of sitting at a computer conversing with people I don't even know?
I hope that if someone is controlling me they're more intresting at the game then i am. If not i'll spend all my time having babies and trying for promotion... oh god... its like looking into the future
Good, somewhere I can post what I think of this. When I got the sims I started to wonder, what if we are just a game and someone is controling us. I think about it every day and it give me the creeps.
mmmm, yeah that probably explains why there is a lot to be desired in my life, money, girls, good bikes, etc - that litttle crystal above my head which should be green is red :-)
Well, I just hope that if we are the sims, that whoever is controlling me doesn't make me buy a fireplace and all wooden furniture placed closely together.
That would explain my urge to go have sex like a sex starved weasle with every attractive woman I see. . . . . or maybe that just me being a sex starved guy, we may never know.
ya know, now that I think of it, things are making more sense now. I never seem to be able to get to the phone while it is still ringing, I leave a mess on the table after I eat, and lately Ive been going to lame parties.
U know what would be messed up..... would be that if you were playing the Sims 2 but u were actually a Sim playing Sims 2 in a Sims 2... but that Sims 2 game that you are in is also a Sims 2 game in another Sims 2 game.... So essentially u are a Sim in a Sims 2 game being played by another Sim in another Sims 2 game who is being controlled by a real person… that would be pretty screwed up….
but what would be even more messed up would be this:
*warning do not read if u don't want ur head to spontaneously explode*
If U were a Sim who was playing Sims 2, but u were controlled by another Sim who is also playing Sims 2, and that Sim was being controlled by the Sim that is playing a SIms 2 game in the game that u are playing. so essentially everybody is a sim and they it is one big cycle. ;-)
