I love the SNES! My friend refers to it as "God's Gift to Mankind." I still play Lemmings, Super Mario World, and that Mario compilation thingy. The Donkey Kong three are awesome too, especially the second one.
I have an emulator and some roms (gulp). Awsome system with awsome games. Super Metroid, Super Mario Kart, DK, and the FF's are fun too. Yoshi's Island is a blast too.
Super Mario World is all you need. 12 years and I still play it pretty often. It's so simple, yet so fun... First game I ever beat. SMRPG, Zelda: LttP, Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, etc. are great too.
Man, no one I talk to ever remembers "Battle Clash" and "Metal Combat"...I consider those games to be rare, because no matter how good you are, the final battles will still make you sit on the edge of your sweat while you sweat profusely.
Ever play "Tin Star", the robotic western shoot-em-up? That was Super Scope optional, but without the Super Scope it was like impossible to fight in the Quick Draw.
Hell yea but I mostly play emulated games due to my old SNES and NES are a peice of shit but yea SNES had the greatest RPGs ever FF games BoF Chrono Trigger ect. In my own opinion nothing today can top the old school 2D RPGs
I think that Chrono Trigger was probably one of the best games on the SNES. But Donkey Kong had by far the best graphics on it. They were amazing compared to all of the other games.
my favorite games: Uniracers Super Mario World (the special levels at the very end are so freakin' hard) Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Super Mario Allstars Kirby Allstars
I still have my SNES and NES. We had them both hooked up at my apartment at school... actually we had to SNES. The NES mostly it was rbi baseball and battletoads. We'd also play mario kart, my roommate played harvest moon for about 2 months strait followed by 2 months strait of a mario rpg. one of my favorites was replaying mega-man x on the snes, and a monday night raw tournament.
The guy listing the best RPGs left out Chrono trigger!!! how can you do that! I still break out that and a link to the past. And I struggle to get my NES working to play Baseballstars, still the best baseball game.
Genesis has to be the best system though. You can't argue with the # of games they had. Too bad SEGA when down hill drasticly from there.
Chrono Trigger is a great game...im almost lvl 99 with all characters on that thing. im playin the ps1 version now. i still play SSF2T and the MK triliogy.
