This is going to be almost impossible to explain with out a video, and I'm no good at those... but here it goes...
To get this skull...
Stand over the rocket launcher. The back side of the launcher points to a bright white door and the front side to a grey door that does not shine as much.
Before you start to walk, as you look into the grey door you will see six columns, two on the grey door. Now walk towards the grey door and stand in the middle of the four closest columns and turn right to see a new column.
(So in this new position, to your left you'll have a column with a ramp behind it, and will be lookng at the target column with no wall on the left side and a wall on the right side.)
The column you see in front of you is the one we're looking for. Stand in front of this column looing at it. Move to your right so that you see the wall and satrt going up, if you stay close to the wall and column, you'll find a hole in the ceiling that reveals a beam and over it the skull.
Hope this helps and sorry for not providing a more visual guide.
Dude, thanks for the info. I found your directions on how to find the skull pretty good. I had no troubles finding it with them at all. The pain in the ass part for me, was grabbing the stupid thing :P
Just a small addition to your instructions. You need to be in forge to make this skull possible to get.
This is an extremely hard skull to get if you just go in and out of monitor mode. So here's how you get it without any trouble.
Once you locate the skull near the ceiling next to the column simply go into the scenery menu and place a man cannon against the opposite wall facing the skull. You should be able to get it holding RB during your flight no problem. Then hand it off to anyone else that may be with you after you smack them in the face with it.
you can't download it. you have to buy Halo 3:ODST and use the second standalone disc you will also receive in the box. bungie still hasnt announced if the maps are even going to be available on marketplace
At this moment you can only get this map with the Halo 3 Mythic Disk. This disk is included with the Halo 3 ODST, you get two disks, a campaign and a multiplayer. The multiplayer disk lets you play on all maps with out having to use any hard drive storage space and includes the last 3 mythic maps.
I assume that these will become available in XBL at a later date, something similar to the first mythic maps that at first you could only get if you had Halo Wars.
