OMFG DAWN OF WAR 2 REVIEW!!!greetings fellow existiees, it is I, General Flame. Evil, crazy scientist/ Trator.

i purchaced the Dawn of War 2 steel book edition on it's release and have just come from completing the campain on all difilculties and playing several multiplayer games. Here is my review of the game.

THIS GAME IS FOR THE SUCK!!!! multiplayer wise.

however, i would only recomend purchasing this game for the campain mode as, even though it only has a similar plotline to the previous Dawn of War's and NO SIMMILAR GAMEPLAY ELEMENTS!!! it has a good story line and it's rendition of events and how they would unfold in the warhammer 40K universe is quite interesting and sensible. so, the campain mode gets a 3 out of 5

Now, time to list reasons for the multiplayer mode to be the suck.
Firstly, if you are the eldar, YOU WIN!!! reguardless of the opponents race. this is because;
1. Eldar move the fastest. so they can rush easier and capture the control points easier. (yes there are only TWO modes of play in multiplayer, and SEVEN MAPS!!!! even the original DoW had at least 30 maps...)
2. Eldar weapon kill the quickest. so they can kill your squad before you can kill even half of theirs! (and not even the nids can kill them quickly enough in close combat. did i mention that THE NIDS SUCK!!! yep, the "swarm army" gives you less units in a squad than you got of orks in the original DoW!!! yep. most units in a squad = 7 rippers. oh, and the units cannot be reinforced. to do that you have to go back to your single base - protected by 2 weak ass turrets- to get them back.)

Secondly, Only the Techmarine commander can build anything. and those things are Turrets with a 90degree Line of fire. THAT IS ALSO FOR THE SUCK!!!

Thirdly, you have to capture specific points to get requisition AND POWER!!! oh, and you can have up to 3 UNPROTECTED generators at the power points....

Fourthly, to use the special abilities, you must kill a certain number of enemies. like for the orbital strike ability, 100 BASIC TROOPS!!!!

so yeh, the multiplayer is for the suck and the single player is alright....

ALSO you have to have steam to play it, and it uses the Live server.... AND IS CANNOT BE TRADED IN... EVER!!!

so over all, this game gets a rating of 1 OUT OF 5!!! only buy as a colaberated effort and play on one computer so that you can all play though the nice campain but never have to play the HORIBLE, HORIBLE multiplayer.

also, i am becoming a game designer. i have designed a better game than this WHILE ASLEEP!!!! and yes, i can type, draw concept art and create a design document during my sleep. and yes, it does scare me too...
