Ok so I wanted to see what is the strongest beer some people have ever tried. For me it is Duclaw's Colossus, this beer weighs in at 21.9% ABV I have tried around 300 different beers and so far that is the strongest one for me followed closely by Dogfish 120 minute a 20% ABV

Dogfish World Wide Stout. Comes in at 22%.

The strongest I've hit are the Deleriums and the Sam Adams Imperials, which aren't really all that strong. Also note: New world record is 50% ABV beer. Made by Brewdog, called the End of History.

I have heard about that, its an 11oz bottle selling for over $700 a bottle, I am trying to find enough people to split it

Ok so I haven't tried The End of History, but I did drink Tactical Nuclear Penguin 32% ABV at about $75 for an 11oz bottle, and Sink the Bismark 41% ABV at about $100 for an 11oz bottle both brewed by Brew Dog.

Did not like Tactical Nuclear Penguin at all, it tasted like terioki beef jerkey with way to much terioki sauce on it, but Sink the Bismark was awesome, it tasted like a strong hoppy beer and burned like a scotch.

A home brew called "knicker dropper" 18% abv If I recall correctly it was a strong ale, but had hints of porter qualities. Smokey aromas and subtle sweet undertones. Not the best beer I have drank but definitely above average
