A new Russian leader is voted in. Two weeks later the government has seized all power and the country is reverted to its USSR state. Conscription is introduced again as the russian super-weapon starts to gain steam. The country slowly begins to brake its self off from the world as imports and exports are restricted more and more, and less contact is made with the outside world. By september all air travel is banned and the people of russia are kept sealed, like prisoners, in their own country. Workers are taken away and forced to work in factories producing arms and other military veichles.
2013
At an UN meeting the Russian representative never shows up and tensions spark as the threat of russia launching an assault becomes more and more likely. On July 12 russia launches an assault on Kazakhstan. Their motives are unknown but action is taken immediately. After three months of fighting Russia has not only taken Kazakhstan but, while the UN was distracted, have taken Afghanistan and Pakistan. Only weeks later an alliance is made with China and the two countries each invade there surrounding nations.
2014
The alliance is broken as Russia crushes China. By September Russia has become the world super power and is starting to rapidly expand through Europe. By the end of the year russia has expanded is borders all through Asia and has reached Poland's door step. With the treat of invasion Poland, Germany, Italy, the UK, France and Spain align themselves and form the United European Front.
2015
Disaster. Poland has fallen and the russians are rapidly gaining ground in Germany, they have also begun an invasion of Alaska. In panic the US combines it arms with the UEF in hope for help and protection from the Russian super-weapon. Before the year is gone Alaska is lost and the Russians are already halfway through Canada. Germany is also taken and the war in europe begins to look more and more dismal. Italy is converter to a war zone with trenches dug in the streets and creators replacing the tourists.
2016
The red star is raised in Canada and France. Russia makes an world wide TV broadcast. They claim to have nuclear weapons and threaten to use them. They make one condition. Any countries that surrender will be spared but in 40 days any country that hasn’t will know what it means to defile the Russians. In a desperate move a small team is sent by the UK and US to take out a very high priority target. If successful the russian super weapon would come to a halt and could be easily crushed. The mission seemed easy until the location of were the assassination would take place was figured out. There was to be a deal made between Russia and Australia, for use of their large uranium deposits. This deal was to take place deep with the ruins of a city ounce destroyed by a massive disaster and thought to be uninhabitable. Chernobyl.
There's a lot more than one typo, and in a lot more than just the first paragraph.
Also, Chernobyl, while not a place you'd want to live, is a semi-popular tourist destination now. I know a group of people who went there a couple of years back.
I'd also question where Russia gets the resources to fight such a prolonged war on so many fronts.
The modern United States wouldn't take so long to get involved in a global war like this. Maybe if you make the U.S. into an isolationist state like it was before World War One, but that would take more than two years to do.
I'm not trying to shoot down your idea. I rather like the idea of a nation trying for global conquest. And being a Cold War fanatic I also like the idea of a revitalized Soviet Union, however implausible. I'm just trying to point out some problems you might want to address.
Thanks for the feedback I really do love a little criticism, as weird as this might sound.......Im also working on a Warhammer 40,000 Fan fic. Oh and I found out there's 10,000 people living in the Chernobyl exclusion zone so thats something to incorporate into the story (maybe). I really like that idea for the U.S so I looked into it and think that turning them into a isolationist state would work great. Looks like where gonna re-write that prologue
Yeah, the U.S. will have to be isolationist to keep us out of a major world war like the one you describe. I'd expect the current U.S. to jump in right about the time that Europe starts coming under attack.
There's some good material for turning the U.S. into an isolationist state. I've noticed some feelings among people I know that the U.S. needs to mind its own business and stop worrying about everyone else. If you write in some events where meddling in foreign affairs harms the U.S. in a significant way, it could provide a plausible reason for a shift to isolationist foreign policies. I'm not sure what a reasonable timescale would be for that, though.

What you've got is a lot better than anything I had at 14. The only salvageable bit of writing I have from back then is a single character, who had to undergo major revisions for a bad case of Mary-Sue-ism. You've already got a pretty decent idea going.
