I'm taking an initiative here and opening a forum where community hunters can let others know what projects they are working on so that we can avoid people working on the same achievements or potentially tread on other's plans they may have for a game they want to cover, and so on.
So without further ado, post your current projects below, and if there is a game on the horizon that you want to cover, be sure to mention that as well.
For the past couple of weeks I've made Perfect Dark my baby, having 4 vids uploaded so far and intend on capturing many of the achievements that would need capturing.
On the horizon...since someone only posted Act 1 of the Gears of War cog tag locations, I thought I'd finish up that series by capturing Acts 2-5.
Seeing all the Sonic Achievements lately has me feeling a little nostalgic… So I think I’m going to pop off a quick guide this week for: “Snot an Achievement”, “Canadian Stunt”, and “Bin Collector” in Earthworm Jim HD. Not that there hard, they are all in the first level, just an excuse to play that game, lol
I'm gonna be doing a few of the co-op dlc achievements in Splinter Cell: Conviction, along with the perfect hunter achievement. I will likely be doing a dual commentary with my co-op partner for these.
Looks like Geoff and Jack beat you to that. It's always a good idea when a new game comes out to wate about a week (especally if you see them starting to do videos for it) and see what they have done for it before you make yours.
Ditto with what Ray said. He wanted to do Bulletstorm but Tudor told him to hold off because Jack and Geoff will probably cover the hell out of that one. When it comes to brand new ones always hold off for a bit. Even if they are lesser-known brand new ones, someone like Fragger or Knuckles may end up doing it. During that waiting period you can always work on an older game to add to the achievement library.
You can, but it may or may not be posted to the site. usually exceptions are made if you find a "better" way, but considering the nature of the achievements I don't know, maybe ask TodorVII, or Fragger??? they could tell you if they will still post it... good luck and don't be discouraged
Nah, shouldn't need help, I have a good partner that I've gotten most of the other co-op achievements with. But if I something comes up and I can't use him I'll definitely let you know.
I'm working on running through Half-Life 2 Episode One getting all the achievements, much like I did for Half-Life 2. No clue when I'll be done with that though. haha
Well since Geoff isn’t in the office the Bulletstorm videos seem to be slow… So I guess I’ll start doing a few. I know there are others of you that want to do them too, so lets just pick one at a time, to give everyone a chance. Fist one I’ll be doing is Old School
They don't usually do DLC achievements, but sometimes Fragger, TonySki, or someone else does. I think Fragger's busy with de Blob right now, not sure about anyone else though.
I have been working on Red Dead ones for a while, there is a very large amount to work with, I also captured a few of the Halo Reach DLC's and uploaded that.
I have a few older games I have been looking to capture to.
When I get home today and throughout the weekend I'll be recording an editing the COG tag locations for Acts 2-5 in GOW. Since I'll be collecting them anyway on a different gamertag so the achievements pop up, do you guys think I should just make a vid for Act 1 anyway, even thouh there is already one from a few years back?
I guess that depends on how you plain on doing it. If you’re going to do it in one or two videos then do it. If your going to do, like one video per chapter then I'd say no...
Looks like I'll be pissing off Rage Quit's LtMkilla yet again - I recorded myself doing the "Ultimate Endurance" achievement in Trials HD some time ago and just forgot to voice it over and upload it. I'll see if I can get that done today.
I'm thinking I should do some Guitar Hero Metallica achievements next....
