"As much as I'd enjoy that, I won't be on the front line with you; someone's gotta keep command so I'll be holding back a bit." he replied, looking over his customized tac pad at the Warthog he'd be in. Slightly extra armor and the dash on the right side was replaced with a holobank to provide the interface he needed to keep control of the troops.
Ash readied himself. As he gripped the handles, he went over the briefing that Key and Germany had sent him in his head. After quickly running through it, he gripped the handles of the seat, and steeled himself for the jolt.
Hawaii was breathing heavily as he closed his eyes waiting for the jolt that came with the drop pods being ejected. He laughed a little at himself and forced himself to calm down.

With a jolt, Ger's pod shot out a split second before everyone elses, the ride already rough since they were being ejected straight into the atmosphere.
