Ash closed his eyes and took a deep breath, and yelled over the COM. // ALL OF YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP NOW!! THATS AN ORDER!!//
He turned and faced the rest of the Freelancers. //Agent Key just gave her life for the mission. And you choose to argue amongst yourselves now? Save it until after we complete the mission, so we can say that Key didn't die just so that we could fuck up our part of the mission!!//
This was odd for Ash. He never raised his voice. Ever. For him to be yelling at the soldiers under his direct command, he must have been extremely pissed off. And it wasn't easy to do that to him.
He turned back towards the front. //Me and Agent West will take point. The rest of you will follow without comment. Talk only if you've engaged an enemy. This is an order. Is everyone clear? Yes? Then move out Freelancers. Watch out for any traps.//
He moved to the front of the group and began to move down the hallway a bit faster than they had before, but he still kept an eye on the walls, floor, and ceiling, watching for any traps.
Ash heard the rumbling through his boosted aural sensors on his helmet, but it didn't sound like there would be anything to worry about right now. He picked up the pace and motioned for West and the rest of the Freelancers to do so as well
Alabama nodded with a sigh, following once again with his rifle raised. Every inch of his body wanted to apologize, but he bit his tongue and saved it for later.
Agent Missisippi followed the rest of the group, while still sad about Agent Key. He didn't know her that great, or something, or was close to her.. But he came here with the illusion that Freelancers (YES SHES NOT A FREELANCER SHUT UP :P) never or almost die. Of course they died, but that easy. He could get sniped by a jackal right now, or that the whole building would get glassed. They were powerless against that, to bad he realized it only now.
(Fuck this, double post or not, no way im going to this topic's funeral. Its fucking starving.)
Agent Missisippi decided to put on his VISR, and walked forward slowly, following the group, and trying to find out where the rumbling really came from. But the problem was, he could aswell be mad, cause noone else seemed to hear it. (Yes, you guys heard it, but did you ever confirmed it. And i have alot of stuff on my ARES Armor, so long story short. I can hear it to)
Whatever it was, the rumbling seemed to get louder, and separated into two distinct sounds; loud, tromping things that sounded like footsteps of some huge land mammal.
In reply to Brainal, #836: (I was busy looking them up, and then you posted it, and you were before me, because i didn't updated, and thats not fun!!! Lets just pretend he used mine)
Alabama followed right next to him, preferring to have the elite Freelancer closer in the case they got jumped, which he had this sneaky bad feeling they would.
